Big Gretch as they call her, is amazing, but I don't believe she can win a primary against Harris. For me, there are so many amazing Democratic women to choose from, I would be happy with almost all of them. I love Amy too. Man, when they op-researched her with that comb story, Twitter went nuts. "you can't defend someone who treats their staff that way." Yes I can! Most people are morons. She was probably really hungry, and because she's a woman she can't afford to pull a Chris Christie and order two hoagies, so all she had was that lousy salad, and her staff member forgot a fork. They deserved it. Now I always say, don't make Amy get out her comb. I love it.

Anyway, we have an embarrassment of riches, but let's face it, Americans love themselves an old white guy, so at this moment in time (and this WILL change), I am hoping Biden stays healthy and runs again.

The rule went too far.”"

Obama often did go too far when it came to guns; he was responding to the Democratic agenda to apply "Euro standards" to the US Constitution or, as Hillary suggested, an Australian-style gun control program of mandatory "buyback". Let's not forget Beto's famous proclamation too.

Yes, we should stop the mentally ill from accessing firearms. OTOH, the Democrats want that to be a lifetime rule and I favor a process for a return of rights.

Consider this scenario: College student's roommate is killed. The student is depressed and considers suicide but gets help through the University. His name is added to an Democrat list of "Mentally Ill".

40 years later he's a healthy, successful business man with grown children and teenage grandchildren. One of his grandchildren wants to go rabbit hunting so the man goes to a store to buy a shotgun but is denied that right because of the Democratic agenda from 40 years before.

Is that fair? No. Is that just? No. It's a problem that needs to be fixed. I fully support keeping guns out of the hands of the violent, the mentally ill and criminals....but to make that a permanent fix, regardless of the circumstances, is an injustice. It's not the American Way.
 
I always find it so interesting that when people debate gun control, they never talk about the elephant in the room; most mass shooters have a history of DV and beating up women. But if you tried to pass a law preventing ANY ONE with any history of DV from owning a gun, what would happen? Most gunners would be against it. Why? Do they think they might beat a woman in the future and want to keep their options open? Have they beat a woman in the past?

It's all mental illness, mental illness. Yet if you go deep, it's toxic masculinity. Which is a phrase that just writing or speaking, will cause them to squeal.

Yes, I agree about the institutional knowledge, but that can be derived from your staff if you are willing to listen and understand how to accept the advice and coaching of an expert.
