this evil bitch deserves the death penalty.

I have always found the men who think all women are crazy are the ones who fuck only crazy bitches.

Your problem is no sane woman would have you so you really are stuck.

BTW no sane guy would have you either so yuo are double screwed , or unscrewed as the case may be.
LOL Winterborn's married, not gay. LOL ROTFLMAO

IMO, if she knew she was supposed to be taking anti-psychotic meds and would have been under control otherwise then she is directly responsible for the death of anybody that she kills. Insanity may be a reason she did what she did, but she had another option and knew she was a danger.

That's the same rule that applies for liquor or other drugs that diminish the capacity and judgment of otherwise sane or capable persons. Given the "baseline" condition of this woman's sanity, I'm not sure how the law applies in reverse. I agree with you, but I don't know how the law stands.

In my experience, schizophrenics often know full well what they are doing and, at least when minor aberrant behaviors are involved, may use their conditions as an excuse. On the other hand, I'll never forget that one patient I was privileged to observe, in the company of his psychiatrist, who truly suffered from comparable (not similar but comparable) delusions to this woman's. Believe me, in his case, "suffer" was the operable term. I've thought of him often in the years since, and hoped that his change in meds helped him.

I still feel, based on the information given so far, that this woman was cognizant of the wrongness of her actions and should be punished accordingly.

My friend's daughter and my niece suffer from the disease and I agree with what you have stated.

She may have a lawyer who gets her to plead NGRI (insanity defense), and her psychiatric history and the fact that she was supposed to be on antipsychotic medication may support that to an extent. Unfortunately, like many schizophrenics (I'm assuming that because of some of the things she said about the victim), her compliance with the medication regimen was poor at best.

On the other hand, she went to some trouble to get rid of the body and to conceal her involvement, which suggests in law that she was aware that what she had done was wrong. This would mitigate against the NGRI defense substantially.

That poor, poor man.

Almost all American states reverted to the ultra-strict 19th century pre-modern psychology definition after the Reagan assassination attempt. Being insane isn't enough to get the insanity defense.

Medicine does not completely eliminate insanity. It's not fair, IMHO, to pretend that insane people are of the same guilt for all actions even if they didn't take their medication.

Anyway, she needs to be in a mental facility, not a correctional facility. The purpose of the insanity defense isn't just to get them off. The guy who shot Reagan is still in the mental hospital.

Yeah it said that's why she did it is she thought he was. Not sure if they would come out and say it if he was. Anyone found anything to say one way or the other?

I can tell you that paranoid schizophrenics are delusional. One set of delusions can be characterized by a feeling of certainty of persecution, that the person is being watched, activities and conversations cataloged, recorded, spyed upon. These feelings have no basis in reality and there is nothing reasonable that even triggers the persecution belief, or that attributes it to one or more individuals. Schizophrenia is primarily a perceptual disorder, or more accurately, the interpretation of internal and external stimuli is distorted.

The guy frequently travelled around the area in his wheelchair, thus she would have seen him probably several times. Perhaps that's what made her think she was being watched -- who knows?

It's stories like this that keep men faithful.
Not true. I was stopped at stop sign the other day and noticed a nice looking lady sitting on her front stoop. It was a very quiet neighborhood, far from mine, and I kept my foot on the brake a lot longer than necessary. She was admiring my vehicle while I was admiring her legs. When our eyes met I nodded and smiled and she nodded and smiled back, then I drove off. My first reasoning for doing so was the sanctity of my marriage. The thought of a problem of the sort described here entered my mind much, much later, and it wasn't nearly as hideous.
