And let me just say this about tanks! Tanks are an old school field military assault weapon limited by the angles of the gun mounts in City street to street combat.

They do their best work out on the perimeter of the battlefield and the city- but mostly useless by the time they enter the city streets!

They can only carry just a few of their large ammo, and just enough gas to go just a few miles, and must be replenished daily! THAT IS A HUGE PROBLEM FOR POOTY BOY! So they just become sitting ducks and vulnerable to attack after running out of ammo and gas (which only gets about a mile to the gallon- if that. And they have huge maintenance issues just to keep them going from minute to minute. if you The tanks and their crews can become a cooked goose in just a matter of minutes. No one wants to die in those death traps.

The Russian T-90 tanks have 42-43 main rounds. And thousands of rounds of secondary ammunition.
Their internal fuel range is over 340 miles - and that is if they do not have external, fuel drums mounted.
And yes, they need maintenance.
But Russian tanks are known for - usually - needing FAR, less maintenance than most Western types.
And certainly not every day is required.

Look, I believe that I was speaking in just general terms about tanks while paraphrasing. Tanks are an expensive investment, and as I said can easily become turkeys, as their use is limited to open battlefields and become mostly useless in City street to street combat which is now the PHASE II of Pooty's war!

No I have no official training on their capabilities or capacities- just using common sense and watching the 40 miles of tanks that are sitting ducks now on the Highway leading to the capitol- many out of fuel, ammo, and broke down and with little or no support from the Russian Military to refuel them and keep them loaded with ammo, food for the crews, in below-freezing temperatures.

YOU REALLY THINK THIS IS SUSTAINABLE FOR RUSSIA? THINK AGAIN AND THAT GENERAL WILL BE THE FIRST ONE TO AGREE WITH ME!

Tanks are kind of like pawns on a chessboard when what you need are queens to win the game! Common sense dude!

All I am saying in this thread - in essence - is that we cannot deduce ANYTHING from little snippets of videos coming from almost-exclusively, BIASED, Ukrainian sources (there are few/no Russian citizens around to take videos of the battles on their phones).
Also, the Ukrainians use the SAME equipment that the Russians do (or variations on the equipment).
Most people cannot tell the difference between a Ukrainian T-64 and a Russian T-90.

We will see after the war what all of this data means.

And we cannot deduce much from it right now.

You want to make HUGE deductions based on tiny, pieces of information?
Go right ahead.

I will choose to wait until the war is long over and cooler heads have prevailed.

I totally agree with your observations. Zelenskyy is using Rhetoric strategically as a way of giving Pooty a little taste of his own medicine- a little fighting fire with fire.

It is giving Pooty, the families of his soldiers, and the stressed out battle-worn Russian soldiers themselves something to think about- as it really also helps build moral and confidence in his own minutemen and freedom fighters on the battlefront.

SO thanks for your most adequate and accurate technical information!
