I always give credit where credit is due....
but I DID NOT "credit" Dems with actually making the declaration of war.(There was no declaration of war unless you consider the following a declaration of war...
"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998.
"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.)
They are at the least, threats of war....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What the Dem leaders did, those that voted to pass the War Resolution, was give our President the option to use whatever force he deemed necessary to disarm Iraq as per UN Resolutions....
and in the process Bush choose, he succeeded in making a Clinton era policy come true, that is, removal of Saddam from control in Iraq....
Its history...its reality, its the truth...no need to re-write what is factual unless you're too mentally ill to deal with the truth
My first thought when I read this: could it possibly be any sadder, or more pathetic?
I'm still working on the answer to that.
Nah; you know it's true, but are too stubborn or stupid to admit it.
Iraq was a mistake; a big one. Not only did it kills 10's of thousands, it will end up being very counterproductive to our own security.
You guys blew it, in a big, big way.
A history course would serve you better.....along with a refresher in logical analysis....so you might understand not only what occurred, but why....
Nah - you're a loser, who can't accept what he supported. Iraq didn't happen because of Clinton, or Congressional Dems. If Iraq was a success right now, you'd post about how Bush did it despite their opposition.
It's pathetic. Rest assured, history will give it its proper due.
And here's one part of history you can study: PNAC, and Bush's role as the perfect patsy for their agenda.
the left knew jack shit then and the left knows jack shit now.....let's be frank.....
BAC claims....
At some point in last year's presidential election campaign, Barack Obama went on Bill O'Reilly's show to concede that maybe the war in Iraq, and Bush's escalation of that war, the so-called surge, were not such bad ideas after all.
Obama met with the admirals and generals and came away declaring that withdrawal from Iraq really meant withdrawal to secure bases inside Iraq. A US troop pullout would not happen until well into his second term, if then, with the accent on the “if.”

Don't you agree with your messiah....? Your omnipotent President....?
The leader of the Democrat Party....?
