Top Iraqi Source: In 5 Years Iraq will be a Colony of Iran

I always give credit where credit is due....

but I DID NOT "credit" Dems with actually making the declaration of war.(There was no declaration of war unless you consider the following a declaration of war...

"One way or the other, we are determined to deny Iraq the capacity to develop weapons of mass destruction and the missiles to deliver them. That is our bottom line."
President Clinton, Feb. 4, 1998.

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."
President Clinton, Feb. 17, 1998.)

They are at the least, threats of war....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What the Dem leaders did, those that voted to pass the War Resolution, was give our President the option to use whatever force he deemed necessary to disarm Iraq as per UN Resolutions....
and in the process Bush choose, he succeeded in making a Clinton era policy come true, that is, removal of Saddam from control in Iraq....

Its history...its reality, its the truth...no need to re-write what is factual unless you're too mentally ill to deal with the truth

My first thought when I read this: could it possibly be any sadder, or more pathetic?

I'm still working on the answer to that.

A history course would serve you better.....along with a refresher in logical analysis....so you might understand not only what occurred, but why....

Nah; you know it's true, but are too stubborn or stupid to admit it.

Iraq was a mistake; a big one. Not only did it kills 10's of thousands, it will end up being very counterproductive to our own security.

You guys blew it, in a big, big way.

I just gave evidence of several things the left was wrong on, in this thread....

Nah - you're a loser, who can't accept what he supported. Iraq didn't happen because of Clinton, or Congressional Dems. If Iraq was a success right now, you'd post about how Bush did it despite their opposition.

It's pathetic. Rest assured, history will give it its proper due.

And here's one part of history you can study: PNAC, and Bush's role as the perfect patsy for their agenda.

Sonny...if you would learn to read, I didn't say Iraq "happened" because of Clinton....or that Iraq was a success, (or failure) or that the Iraq War was "right" or "wrong"....

Only you carry on about those issues....I just gave you the historical facts of what occurred and the reasons .....
Why the problem with understanding EXACTLY WHAT IS WRITTEN....???

You must have a hell of a time trying to enjoy a novel....or even the funnies for that matter....

the left knew jack shit then and the left knows jack shit now.....let's be frank.....

well young fella... you weren't here or at FP or at P.com before that when I was saying that an invasion of Iraq would lead to an alliance between Iraq and Iran.

Again... you were shitting yellow in your diapers, little man, when I had already learned more about the middle east than you have ever or will have ever known. let's be frank.:321:

BAC claims....

At some point in last year's presidential election campaign, Barack Obama went on Bill O'Reilly's show to concede that maybe the war in Iraq, and Bush's escalation of that war, the so-called surge, were not such bad ideas after all.

Obama met with the admirals and generals and came away declaring that withdrawal from Iraq really meant withdrawal to secure bases inside Iraq. A US troop pullout would not happen until well into his second term, if then, with the accent on the “if.”

Don't you agree with your messiah....? Your omnipotent President....?
The leader of the Democrat Party....?

we will have troops in Iraq, in secure bases outside the cities, for some time... and we will do our best to train the Iraqi security forces to maintain order... and then whenever we finally DO leave, Iraq will become a client and under the influence of Iran, just like I predicted seven years ago. that was always a foregone conclusion the minute we toppled the sunni head of a shiite nation sitting next to another shiite nation with regional hegemonic aspirations.
