Anyhoo, more economists are predicting a recovery this year, which is much shorter than they were predicting when Obama took office. So, I fail to see how he is "making it longer," if those predictions play out...

usc talked about two and many people feel there was a slight recession at the very beginning of bush's term, dems blame bush, not clinton....its hypocritical

I never blamed Bush for the '01 recession, so spare me the "you guys" stuff. Get your facts straight if you're accusing someone of a double-standard, as you do daily, in a somewhat obsessive way.
 
And, if you're looking for double-standards, how about all of the Republicans who followed Rush's lead to call this the "Obama Recession" back in November & December?

this is a hack post....first....many dems on this board say "you guys" you never say boo to them...i try not to say it, but occasionally i do and if called on it i always clarify, just like i did here for you....you're replying to a post where i do not mention you at all, i more clearly identified who after you called me on it....so why you're still on the "you guys" only proves you don't pay attention to facts or what people say, you're all about the gotcha and getting yurt

If someone says "you guys" in a response to one of my posts, and follows it with a sentiment I do not hold, yes, I will call them on it, whether they are on the left or right.

No, I'm not a thread police - I don't go around nailing people for saying "you guys" when it doesn't apply to me, or dishonestly imply that I believe something that I really do not.
 
The Bush tax cuts are responsible for part of the decline in revenue and for the bulk of the deficit that Obama inherited. It should surprise no one that revenues dramatically increase after the Bush tax cuts expire.

It's not smart to deficit spend during a time of economic expansion.
