Movon dot org bites off man's finger in support of Obama

The Thousand Oaks Police Department is looking for a man who they say bit a finger off the left hand of a counter protester at a rally over health insurance reform Wednesday night. It happened around 7:30 PM at a pro health insurance reform rally and vigil at Hillcrest Drive and Lynn Road that was sponsored by Move-On-Dot-Org. Deputies say that during the otherwise peaceful event, a group of counter protesters showed up across the street. At one point, there was a heated exchange and during that the fight broke out between two men. They say during that fight the pro reform demonstrator allegedly bit the little finger off the left hand of the counter demonstrator. The 65-year-old male victim was taken to Los Robles Medical Center where there was apparently an effort to reattach the finger. The suspect fled and is still at large. He was described by deputies as a white male, short, with a medium build.

Actually, the moveon guy has been identified as being much younger than his victim, who was the oldest man in a group of counter protesters. The moveon guy walked across a multi-lane street through traffic, targeted the weakest person in the group, got in his face, dragged him onto the street, then bit his finger off. I just heard an eyewitness account on the radio during lunch.

Leave it to you to post one specific set of information and then insult people who base their comments on that information.

The article did not say how old the MODO person was. It did not say who started the physical altercation. It did not say anything about that someone "walked across a multi-lane street through traffic, targeted the weakest person in the group, got in his face, dragged him onto the street, then bit his finger off.". All we have is your word for that little detail.

If that were the case, then the MODO guy is a lunatic (probably is anyway). But with the information provided, my original statement stands.

Can you imagine if a "birther" or "loud talker" had bitten of someone's finger?

It would be all over the news and evidence that there should be state supported genocide against white people.

"Ventura County Sheriff's Capt. Frank O'Hanlon says about 100 people demonstrating in favor of health care reforms rallied Wednesday night on a street corner. One protester walked across the street to confront about 25 counter-demonstrators.

O'Hanlon says the man got into an argument and fist fight, during which he bit off the left pinky of a 65-year-old man who opposed health care reform."

According to the Sheriff's Dept... the pro-Obama care person walked across to the counter protestors and started the altercation.
