These fucking morons are more concerned about assigning blame on the Left than on fixing the problems facing all Americans. Note that not a single one of them has offered logical solutions for a, literally, global problem and our nation which has failed to keep up with demand over the past several decades.

Note that some of the idiots believe private business will provide them cheap electricity instead of maximizing their own profits:

We really need to insist that all h.s. graduates complete and pass a course in basic economics, basic government, basic reasoning and logic.

Corporations exist solely to make money for their owners and/or shareholders. Period. Without regulation things would be a LOT worse, but it's impossible for the poorly-educated to understand this. Even if forced to take a course in the above subjects, a certain subset would *still* not get it.

He isn't. US oil production is driven by the global price of oil and not the president. US oil companies have countless drilling leases they are not using for reasons that have nothing to do with Biden.

Oh? What's this then?

Those reasons DO have to do with Biden because he put restrictions and regulations on those leases via the EPA.

What does Delusional Uncle do? Tries to pin it on the Orange Man. :nono:

Why not? Ignorant fucks such as yourself like to credit him for things that happened during his presidency when he had nothing to do with them. Things such as our oil production are what they are at any instant because of what has taken place the previous 6-8 years not who is president at that moment. Half the inflation today is the result of the orange asshole and not Biden.

Like I said, US oil production doesn't have a fucking thing to do with Biden and the oil companies have a wealth of choices of where to drill and the leases to do so right now.

Oil companies will sometimes sit on unused permits until it makes more financial sense. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) found that since there isn’t a penalty for not using a drilling permit, some companies wait to begin drilling until oil prices are high enough to make it worth their while. There are more than 9000 oil drilling permits for govt lands right now that are not being used. How the fuck is that Biden's fault?

Agreed 100%. Notice how all the far Righties are anti-school, anti-teacher and anti-union? Who benefits the most from that ideology?

BTW, from JFK's undelivered speech at Dallas November 1963: https://www.jfklibrary.org/archives...hes/dallas-tx-trade-mart-undelivered-19631122

We cannot expect that everyone, to use the phrase of a decade ago, will "talk sense to the American people." But we can hope that fewer people will listen to nonsense. And the notion that this Nation is headed for defeat through deficit, or that strength is but a matter of slogans, is nothing but just plain nonsense.

You are absolutely right there! It takes no experience whatsoever to lead this country in congress or the presidency, just votes. It will be this countries downfall electing blithering idiots to office.

Business is business and only the fucking morons think business will serve the best interests of the American people over their own corporate interests.

Either you're ignorant or a liar; Which is it?

I move it's the latter. You know damn well Trump fixed problems with the country's fuel supply and Biden undid all the fixing; yet you lie like a fucking rug about it because you're

a partisan shitbag that don't give a fuck about Americans at all.

JFK would be shocked at today's political climate, particularly on the RW. When JFK was around, we were in the midst of the Cold War. Republicans in those days valued science, knowledge, technology, education and willingly (mostly) funded these things because they were (and still are) weapons against America's enemies. Not any more. They've embraced Russia and made enemies of the very things that allowed us to win that Cold War. They are a cancer on the body politic.

QED

When a fucking moron lacks an intelligent reply, try to derail with a meme or youtube video. :rofl2:

I'm sorry if the proof that a blithering idiot has been "elected" to office escapes your feeble cognizance. But then again; You are one dumb motherfucker.

Yep. Good examples are the former IMPOTUSx2, and Rep. Boebert who dropped out of h.s. when she got pregnant and didn't get a GED until shortly before being elected to Congress. We can do better. We'd better do better.

Correct. They also use the unused leases as tax dodges. The money spent on each lease offsets a tax liability. Basic accounting, something our RW friends don't understand. It's easier to scream at Biden than to try to understand who the real culprits are here.

Agreed. In a 1981 address to Congress Barry Goldwater warned about the direction the Republican Party was headed.

And the foundation for our form of government is not in the principle of prosperity for all but in freedom for all. That is what has attracted all those who have migrated to this country. That is what has made America the symbol of hope and prosperity for all the world.

Freedom: That is what true conservatism is all about.
Being a conservative in America traditionally has meant that one holds a deep, abiding respect for the Constitution. We conservatives believe sincerely in the integrity of the Constitution. We treasure the freedom that document protects.

We believe, as the Founding Fathers did, that we "are endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."...

...In all honesty, I must admit that the birth of the so-called "new right" is a direct reaction to years of increasing social activism by the liberal side of the religious house. Within that development lies a very serious threat to our liberty.

One of the great strengths of our political system always has been our tendency to keep religious issues in the background. By maintaining the separation of church and state, the United States has avoided the intolerance which has so divided the rest of the world with religious wars. Throughout our 200-plus years, public policy debate has focused on political and economic issues, on which there can be compromise....

...Our political process involves a constant give and take, a continuous series of trade-offs. From this system of compromise, we get legislation that reflects input from many sectors of our society and addresses many needs and interests.

Obviously, not everyone can be pleased, but at least all sides are considered.

However, on religious issues there can be little or no compromise. There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ. Or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls his supreme being.

But, like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly.
The religious factors that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their positions 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on any particular moral issue, they cajole, they complain, they threaten you with loss of money or votes or both.

In the past couple years. I have seen many news items that referred to the moral majority, pro-life and other religious groups as "the new right," and the "new conservatism," Well, I have spent quite a number of years carrying the flag of the "old conservatism." And I can say with conviction that the religious issues of these groups have little or nothing to do with conservative or liberal politics.

The uncompromising position of these groups is a divisive element that could tear apart the very spirit of our representative system, if they gain sufficient strength.

As it is, they are diverting us away from the vital issues that our Government needs to address. We are facing serious economic and military dangers in this country today, and we need to make a concerted effort to correct our problems in these areas...

...And I am frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C," and "D.'' Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me?

And I am more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every rollcall in the Senate.

I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of conservatism.

This unrelenting obsession with a particular goal destroys the perspective of many decent people with whom I think I agree on most issues. In the quest for moral righteousness they have become easy prey to manipulation and misjudgment.

Matt, get a fucking clue; I'm not supporting Biden nor did I vote for him but I'll be the first to admit he's an improvement over Pedo Don.

Jan. 6 panel schedules prime-time public hearings
The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot has tentatively scheduled public hearings for prime-time slots from June 9 through the end of that month, according to three people familiar with the committee’s plans, The Washington Post’s Jacqueline Alemany and Josh Dawsey report.

The June 9 hearing is set for a prime-time evening start, according to preliminary planning.

FWIW, I expect my Truth Social account to explode. LOL
