Blackouts too. No, the reason is a simple one. The SDTC has decided to destroy power plants in favor of wind and solar, the two most expensive sources of electric power, watt for watt. Further, they have now tapped the power from Hoover dam so much that Lake Mead is getting too low to generate power there anymore.
