Russia's Implosion

For years, a Russian acquaintance of mine insisted that the western media was getting things all wrong, in their depictions of Putin as a man who --although evil-- was a brilliant strategist. He insisted that, in fact, Putin was an blundering imbecile who repeatedly made decisions that not only were bad for mankind, but hurt Putin's own objectives, by weakening his military, strengthening his adversaries, alienating potential allies, and hampering the ability of the country to turn its vast fossil fuel wealth into actual prosperity. I used to be skeptical of that argument, but now I see I was wrong and he was right. Putin's a moron.

The brainless invasion of Ukraine has done all the things my acquaintance said. It has deeply wounded the Russian military (while revealing the disfunction and incompetence that were there all along). It has strengthened NATO, and positioned it to grow on Russia's borders with newcomers like Finland. It has alienated potential allies in Eastern Europe. And it has obliterated 15 years' worth of economic gains in just months:

You Russian acquaintance is a cab driver, surely an expert on the Kremlin.

My Russian acquaintance is a programmer who works on high-end financial analysis software systems. Before this year, I saw his rhetoric as a kind of "sour grapes" -- his family had left Russia in disgust, and he had the same kind of hate for Putin as you see among Cuban exiles when Castro is brought up. But, I see now it was more than sour grapes. His view of Putin is very much in line with the utterly self-destructive incompetence we've seen from the man this year.

I agree that Putin is a moron. But then, we have one that is destroying our economy too. The US is imploding with millions of illegals crossing the border, shutting down businesses, gas prices skyrocketing with no end in sight, food pantries struggling to keep them stocked, a weaponized DOJ going after Republicans over the January 6th HOAX and amazingly. unable to even get baby formula.

November can't get here soon enough. At least in this country we can replace the morons in Congress. We'll have to wait two more years to get rid pf the moron in the White House.

Trump thinks Putin is a genius.

Predictable. But, compared to Biden, absolutely.

BUT TRUMP!!!

If you think that Putin is a moron take a look at this fool;

th

He supports occupation of Palestine by pseudo-Jews and he's allowed his own country to become flattened and occupied.
You can call Putin a moron if Russia loses. This Zelensky showman is a moron already.

Its a real shame that we dont have journalists anymore, just a very few remain....Americans by and large have not the first fucking clue what is going on....mostly they dont want to either.

Buckle Up.

Tucker Carlson Today today put up an interesting conversation with L. Todd Wood about Ukraine and Russia and the organized program to destroy America.

Highly Recommended.
