Russia to annex Kherson Oblast

That's as lame as the threat of Nazis invading Russia, post WWII thinking

What is it that you're trying to say here ? That there was no threat to Russia's security from a NATO Ukraine ? Is THAT what you're trying to say ?

You actually think that NATO has secret plans to invade Russia? That Putin thought they did? And even if they did, that they would need the Ukraine to do it?

As I said, post WWII thinking, propagandized by Putin to rationalize invading the Ukraine

moon and myself couldn't have different worldviews
-except for the western hegemony over Ukraine and NATO expansion.

Primavera and myself have very close views ( and I consider him a friend)
but we differed on Libya to an extent and we have opposing views on Russia.

Like they say in chess "play the board -not against the man"

Understand, I have no dog in this fight. I feel for the people of Ukraine.

Maybe you haven't noticed what the NATO threat to Russia has done to Ukraine.

Thousands demonstrate in Madrid ahead of NATO summit
Banners with the words ‘No to NATO, No to War, For Peace’ were held as thousands of people marched through the Spanish city.

Poland thru Ukraine is the natural attack route to the Russian border by a NATO large army
I dont think NATO has plans to attack but a counterattack would be the same

.
De-occupation is inevitable' Zelensky taunts Putin as Ukraine edges closer to Kherson win

Zelensky has ridiculed Vladimir Putin through a piece of art that takes a dig at the Russian army as Ukraine moves closer to occupied Kherson.

An image shared by the Defence of Ukraine on Twitter shows Ukraine troops moving over a Russian soldier while the other one screams in shock - the art philosophy of Norwegian artist Edward Munch.

Recently, Mr Zelensky said that his forces are advancing “step by step” into the occupied southern region of Kherson.

The Ukrainian President claimed that Russian military losses have climbed to nearly 40,000, adding that tens of thousands more were wounded and maimed.

Agreed.

No, they don't actually think NATO had plans to invade Russia, nor that you could even get 30 independent sovereign countries to mutually agree to invade one of the world's military superpowers.

But the Kremlin apologists have spent so many years sucking Putin's cock and denying he had any intentions of invading Ukraine, they are still in denial about their previous assessments of Dear Vlad. It took Bush apologists at least a decade to even begin to hint that his Iraq War may have been foolish.

People with fragile egos are loathe to admit they have been duped.

Russia sees NATO eastward advance as invasion/precursor to invasion. NATO has fucked up.

Nope

Vlad Putin is driven by revanchism and sees Ukraine as a traditional part of the Russian empire. Trying to acquire Ukrainian territory either by force or coercion was Putin's goal irrespective of NATO.

Putin decided to take it before NATO did. That was after NATO refused his requests for border security.
Your narrative is skewed.

Nope.

NATO had not made any offer to Ukraine to join NATO, nor was such an offer even on the horizon.

You couldn't even get 30 independent, sovereign nations to mutually agree to invade Russia, a world military superpower which has been the graveyard of invading armies for centuries.

You have simply allowed yourself to be easily duped. With regard to Ukraine, Putin is driven by classic Russian imperialism tainted by a history reaching back four centuries.

Funny how you Zelenskies always neglect to mention the US-led coup in Ukraine which overthrew the elected pro-Russian president.

Still, I suppose that the NATO warmongers depend upon you drones to rewrite history for them . Doesn't look like it's going to happen though, does it.
