True. I have considered picking an EV up for my wife but I think I'll wait for another 5 years to see if their range gets better. Plus my wife has decided she wants 3rd row seating in her next car and more of a Suburban style suv. Her previous 2 cars were Suburbans. I'll probably just lease her a Escalade this time


BTW : My F250 Diesel does not run on gasoline.

I'm happy. I worked my butt off for years and years getting up at 4:30 am 6 days a week and now get to sleep in to 6:30 am when my 30 month old granddaughter arrives for her daycare which we provide. She is like a 2 foot tall alarm clock "WAKE UP K Paw" I have no idea why she christened me K Paw. :laugh:

If true, then where does the hate come from?

Grandkids are interesting, but I let GG mostly handle any under age 6. FWIW, I always wake up before them. LOL

The Asian invasion cut into American car sales in the subcompact class. The Beetle was already popular here. Ford cut every corner when they rushed the Pinto to market. They knew there was a cheap fix to the design flaw, but opted to ignore it instead.

I'm no fan of Musk. Are you saying that the company knows there is a deadly defect as Ford did, but ignored it? Are you saying that the technology wasn't properly tested, or these flaws were hidden after testing?

I would never own an electric vehicle, but the hybrids are a great alternative to single fuel gas. EVs are great for fleets in cities where they have secure parking/charging.

I don't hate like you do. Maybe if you didn't shirk off the grand parenting onto GG you wouldn't hate so much. ;) But then again I'm pretty blessed. I would not miss my grand kids at this age (2 1/2 and 5) for anything. They are real hoots. Our latest thing is a zip line strung between the oaks in my back yard. I have a baby swing attached to the zip trolley and a dog leash on the swing seat. So now my 5 year old grandson pulls the 2 1/2 year old grand daughter back up the zip line and will do it time after time after time. :laugh: Life is good.
