Why are you and the others so determined to call this a joke? That seems to be the constant theme with the anti-Obama folk....give him credit for nothing, demonize him, mock him, block any and all actions on his part.
The Nobel Peace Prize is what it is.....quite frankly, if Obama decides to join the country to the ICC after this, THAT is when the shit hits the fan, and when he'll have actually EARNED that prize rather than just getting it because he's making the efforts not to be an asshole like the Shrub and his minions. Also, as someone else pointed out...how he handles Afghanistan will determine whether this award becomes sheer irony.

The world wanted to reward America for getting smart! in Bush's first few months he was already planning to find a way to invade Iraq...that is all!
