I doubt Trump will last that long. His legal troubles are mounting. A conviction, even if only a wrist slap, would make him ineligible to run. I'm not a lawyer, but that's my understanding.

Once he decides to do that, with his RNC club money behind him, then he will also be my enemy at that point as he will have chosen his side at that point.

They believe the mid term results mean that people really like them. You shouldn't disabuse them of this notion. Though I will tell you that Trump will bring out the crazies to vote against him if he is the nominee. Giving them Trump to run on can make it very difficult to win as a republican running in 2024.
