Epic Watermark FAIL.

Incidentally, what did he post initially?

Personally I think the death penalty gives some of them fame and satisfaction that they do not deserve. This particular guy probably thinks he's on his way to 40 virgins or whatever they are promised.

Why should we give him what he wants?

Plus, it wastes so much money with all their appeals, etc.

And that is just the "logical" reasons. Why waste money and give them satisfaction and fame? It's not worth it. Stuff them in a dark room and forget them like the crap you stuff in the attic.

We should put them in a jail cell, treat them like human, and hope for a day when we have the cure to people like them and cruelty supporters.

That's because the Judges overruled the will of the people in 2004. Thanks for proving my point. :good4u:
I completely miss typed. THe murder rates in NY have gone DOWN since 1998 ever year it has been lower, and it was lower last year than it was in 98 when they had the death penalty.

Because SM is so dense, here is the numbers for new york from 2008 back to 1996.

08 07 06 05 04 03 02 01 00 99 98 97 96
4.3 4.2 4.8 4.5 4.6 4.9 4.7 5 5 5 5.1 6 7.4

Notice SiMtard, the Murder rate in NY in 96 was 7.4 and went down continuously with some small up ticks. Your claim was that the Murder rate went way up after the courts overturned the DP. Not true you liar.

People who believe in killing or being cruel in any way, shape, or form to any other human being are mentally diseased.

Why should criminal, who have proven to be untrustworthy to society, be given more lee way? What does that say about those who exploit the system for personal gain? That it's ok to act a certain way, just because you're 'sick'? The purpose of our criminal justice system is to punish those who have done a damage to society, whether at large or to an individual.

well he is dead now

personally, i think the death penalty is too lenient and draws way too much media attention - sort of like the roman circuses

The purpose of our justice system is public safety. Everything else is irrelevant. If public safety is not improved by a punishment, the punishment should never be dealt.

And do you literally believe that people who are schizophrenic should be treated exactly like normal prisoners?

Since I don't advocate the death penalty, for the most part I would agree for equal treatment. Now if we still institutionalized those that were mentally dangerous to society the problem cases like this may not arise as much as they do today. But that's another story for another day.
