On one side we have someone who insists that the firing was legit (without getting all the facts) simply because it was a christian who was fired. And all that because of the bigotry against christianity and convicting all christians because of the actions of a tiny minority of them.

On the other side we have, yet another idiot, who wants to compare homosexuality with pedophilia. News flash, pedophilia is illegal and harms children, whereas homosexuality is legal and harms no one.

If you could READ what is written, you would see NO Comparison between homosexuality with pedophilia....because they are not even in the same ballpark....

Its a comparison of the double standard applied to right and left wing "PC sins"....claiming religious beliefs automatically make a person a bigot

The Muslims don't happen to have control of a major US political party. Evangelical conservatives do, however, and they're fucking up the lives of a lot of people. It doesn't matter that they represent 20-30 percent of the country. They, for a very long time, had a hell of a lot of political power as a minority and to this day get one of the to major political parties in this country to bend to their will on every single issue.

Every issue. There is no issue the Republican party differs with the evangelical Christian minority on. For that reason, they deserve to be attacked because not attacking them leads to a hell of a lot of prejudiced laws.

Please don't be a retard and try to paint this in black and white terms like Annie and CaptKid. I'm not saying all Christians are bigots. This guy is a bigot. And damned near all evangelical Christians are bigots. The black protestants that turned up at the polls on Prop 8 in California and voted against gay marriage are bigots. The mormons who funded the plan to get black people out to vote against gays are bigots. Etc, etc.

Religious people make up about 80+% of the population and only a small minority give a shit what homos do or don't do.......

He can't fire you for a lot of reasons. There are anti discrimination laws on the books for a fucking lot of things, but the bigoted Christian right refuses to allow sexual orientation to be one of those protected things.

If you're a woman and you become pregnant and you think your boss fired you because of it, you can sue. Gays don't have that protection against bigots. Guess whos at fault? Look at the map on that link I gave you and see if that gives you a clue.

you can sue....but unless you can prove by a preponderance of the evidence, you lose....

that is why when you are at will, you virtually have no legal recourse....think about how few employee's actually win cases....

i saw the map and as you know i am in disagreement with virtually all conservatives and christians on this issue....
