What is woke about the lil mermaid?

Never having seen the originals, I would never know the difference.

My little ones grew up watching Animal House and The Blues Brothers.

The Gestapo and I were only children who, for all intents and purposes, never saw a baby until we brought one home.
Our parenting skills were largely self-taught, but all seems to have turned out ok.

My parents may have taken me to some in the late forties or early fifties, but I probably fell asleep during them.
When I was a young boy, my mom and I went to movies on most rainy days during the summers we spent at the beach.
I probably saw every film that Frank Sinatra ever made, but I don't remember Lady and the Tramp.
If it was about dogs and none of them got seriously hurt, I probably would have really liked it.

I played the original Pac Man on a stand up console this morning. :) You can still buy Matchbox cars and build a 1:32 race track. Lots of the good stuff is still out there, it's just harder to find.

They didn't take his movie or cartoon/animation and change it ... They created a classic using his story ...I misread your other post about Disney taking stories and making adaptations... I don't have a problem with that... The remakes of Disney classics are for the wrong reasons... all you have to do is read why they changed things.. again my opinion... and once again we're not talking about race here... we discussed this weeks ago... haven't you seen Cinderella with Brandy and Whitney? I know you've seen The Wiz... no complaints if you're going to do a remake do it properly .... not because some feelings were hurt by the original...

For fans of the original it was changed in too many ways rhat weren't necessary... why mess with the classic? A live version is awesome if it tells the story properly...;)

It's well rated, but I'm not a big fan of kid's movies like others on this thread. Why is their box office so important to you, Grok?
