So now MAGA wants to pay to teach kids how to shoot a bow and arrow?

What's wrong with funding such programs at schools? By the way, these programs don't pay participants to be in them, the funding is to allow them to operate just like other classes and programs in public schools do.

Aren't those after school activities? No one is forcing kids to participate.
Everyone had to take the hunter safety course in 6th grade when I was
in school. It was taught by the PA. Game Commission. Maybe that's why
my generation didn't shoot up schools? Possibly because we were taught
safety and respect for firearms and hunting?

Fuck off, you pathetic bigoted racist mongrel.
He truly is...and in addition, being one who doesn't have a heart or soul, has not a single clue about schools, teaching, education, or children....

a bow and arrow are weapons................in other words, 'arms'. It should also concern you why it is that democrats do not want our future generations to learn how to survive if times get hard and they need to hunt or fish for food during difficult times.

Exactly. They want ignorant easily controlled dependent slaves .

Why don't they want activities to keep the kids away from their phones and games? I would think that everyone would want as many physical and recreational activities as possible offered...first they got rid of Home Ec and Industrial Arts... and now they want to cut out phys ed...which is essential to a well rounded education... looks as if they do want kids to be controlled and dependent...

Rather have them learning English and Math than spending money on bows and arrows, every town has a grocery store

Archery is an Olympic sport. :)

Archery is one of the oldest sports still practised, and is closely linked to the development of civilisation. Using bows and arrows, the sport as a history dating back thousands of years. As a cultural advance, it was comparable to the discovery of fire and the invention of the wheel.

Why not have them learn English, math, and the option of taking archery if they like?

If Biden wants to cut the funding for archery then the schools will just do what they often have to do and fund it themselves... teachers and coaches often have to do this when an activity is shunned by the system/goverment but the interest is there... we had to get sponsors, donations, and use our own money when we first started our swim team... and we didn't take a coaching salary...

Is Tigger you? You post a lot in response to Tigger's posts and Tigger is definitely a racist Euro-American male fuckwit just like you.

You're free to say so, Pmp, but I disagree. You're the one who claims to be such a great Christian prophet while simultaneously spewing hate, racism and Trumpist authoritarianism.

Who is closer to Jesus; the person who supports freedom for all and Free Will or the racist fuckwit who seeks to make white males superior to all other Americans?

Not without adjustments, major adjustments, and they would take time to master, and before you go there, I probably wouldn’t do well in podunk town, but podunk isn’t what defines America in the 21st Century, it is an unnecessary relic of the past, kids today aren’t moving to podunkville

No, but retired people and people who can afford it are. People who are risking being able to make a living where you have to drive 50+ miles to any decent paying job are, even young people wanting to start a family who don’t want to raise their kids in a metropolitan area are.

Point being, a lot of us like “podunkville” and all the things that go along with it. Maybe it is an unnecessary relic and maybe it doesn’t define America. But it is a piece of Americana, and it’s a lifestyle we don’t want messed with.

With that being said, I can tell you as a fact that I would not do well trying to live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, much less the New York Cities, LA’s, Bostons, etc of our country. Glad to be where I am. I’m more like Briar Gates than I am Truman.
