He's not wrong about schools you know... we've got a lot of work to do... parents, teachers, and retired teachers... before no one wants to teach anymore ...Good thing we're up to the task... our kids deserve it don't you think? (Heck even the private schools are having ridiculous issues... one of the most expensive exclusive schools here refuses to play the national anthem at home games and as you might expect that is not going over well with quite a few parents it'll be an interesting year they have a new Headmaster...)
Tough for me to say, TOP--there are no young kids even remotely associated with my life any more,
so my interest in their affairs is limited
and that makes me the wrong one to ask, I would guess.
I have no idea why we need the National Anthem played at sporting events, however.
I wouldn't make a big deal out of objecting to it,
nor would I be disappointed if the practice were discontinued to avoid the controversy.
