Does Yemen Have WMD's?

Of course I'm not speaking on the side of peace, what kind of Conservative would possibly favor peace over war? I mean, we all want to have wars for no other reason than to enable us to steal resources and further our globalist agenda. This isn't really about war and peace, it's more about a double standard from the left. Suddenly, invading and conquering a sovereign nation who poses no imminent threat, is okay... IF you are Obama! Suddenly, the needless killing of thousands of innocent civilians is acceptable, in fact, they WANT us to do it, according to Desh! It's just amazing how principles change completely, based on the political affiliation of the president!

It certainly is, you complete nutjob...

:good4u:

Obama is like Bush lite when comes to war.
He sold anti-war liberals out and they are bitching about it.
But Dixtard will not here it on KKKradio, or wingnut fox for fat white guys news.

Obama is pursing the national security strategy that he campaigned on. If you're surprised by what he's doing you weren't paying attention.

And really, claiming that Obama is Bush-lite when it comes to war is pretty ridiculous. If Obama starts beating the drums for a preventive war of choice against a country that has nothing to do with Al Qaeda and lies about said country's possession of WMDs we can begin to make that comparison. At this point, Obama's position is akin to that of Bill Clinton who bombed the Sudan and Afghanistan in response to terror attacks on U.S. interest overseas.

It's not that I agree with what Obama is doing. It's just that the comparison to Bush, who adopted a doctrine of preventive war of choice, is simply not justified.

This didn't come from the Left. It came from the moderates. The left got hosed.

You've got a pretty fucking twisted memory of the run up to the Iraq War.

Well, at least there WAS a "run up" to the war... here, there was no "run up" at all, Obama just decided to start unilaterally bombing a sovereign nation... no "run up" was ever initiated.

What I remember is, Colin Powell lobbying the UN for weeks, trying to find some diplomatic solution and avoid confrontation. I remember the administration asking Congress for authority to use military force in Iraq, and that doesn't seem to have happened with Obama and Yemen.

It's interesting that you mention Powell's lobbying of the UN. His top aide later said he was given a "chinese menu" of intel, and told to make the "case" for "war."

That's great leadership there...

Still... The administration DID go to the UN and "make a case" while Obama's administration just sends out the jets and starts bombing! He didn't even bother asking permission from Congress like Bush did!

You & your blue jeans. You have to get past your undying love for one of the worst Presidents in history before you can even start to discuss this one...

LOL... What did I say that wasn't true? Bush DID go to the UN and Congress! Bush DID at least attempt to "make a case" in a "run up" to Iraq... Obama just unilaterally decided to bypass all that and bomb Yemen! ...No "case" ...No "run up" ...No UN permission ...No Congressional permission!

I was past my undying love for Bush when he put Ted Kennedy in charge of the Education Bill! If that didn't do it, his "jobs Amuricun's wont do" position on illegal immigration certainly DID! I didn't like Bush or his father, because they were both wusses. The 'issues' of Saddam Hussein, Iraq, and even radical Islamic terror, would not have been 'issues' if his father had taken the bold action he should have, as part of the Gulf War. This all should have been settled in the desert then, but it wasn't. Bush's have this tendency to want to get the blessing of liberal nit wits, whether at the UN, Congress, or the media. I think it ultimately led to the downfall of both presidents!

You can say all of this NOW because Bush isn't President, so it's "safe" for you not to support him again.

If you'd like to see how you were when he actually WAS Prez, I still have the jeans thread (fortunately, I transferred it over to this board before FP changed).

Forever incriminating...

Yes, I know you have the entire text of the parody I did on Bush. What you don't have, is the environment surrounding that thread when it was posted. This puts the "parody" in perspective of a thing called "context" ...go look it up! Apparently, you have absolutely zero understanding of the concept, but people often say things in a particular "context" as a result of other things in play.

At that time, almost every thread on the board was "I HATE BUSH" in some form or another... so I posted "I Love Bush!" as a response to that! A parody and mocking of your stupidity in obsessing with hatred for the man. I never hated Bush, I didn't agree with many of his policies, I understood this as well as the alternative to Bush, which would have been disastrous for America. I think Bush did some good things and some bad things, and will end up being an 'average' president, when all is said and done. With Obama's popularity setting all-time records for nosedive, Bush certainly doesn't have to worry about being the "worst" president in history! I think I read yesterday, Michelle is now more popular than Barrack in the Obama Administration!

Irony alert! From the guy who posts one Obama "gotcha" strawman thread over another, and posted Mary Jo Kopechne's pic on every thread after Teddy died, and so on & so on...

HACK

:pke:

more lies....except about mary jo, and its sad you find posting a picture of someone to remember them is obsessive....

and its funny that you actually defend your perverted obsession over dixie...keeping his posts from several years ago....thats borderline creepy....i bet you get up in the middle of the night when you think no one is looking and read them over and over....how excited does it get you? wait, i don't want to know.

Dixie, you've gotta stop! I'm not sitting here begging for more proof of your psychosis...why do you keep offering it?

.

What an intellectually dishonest statement that is.

You think posting a picture of her on dozens of threads is mere "remembrance" of her?

You're a true piece of work, hack!

it was in remembrance, only hacks like you would view it otherwise...it amazes that posting her picture offends you....you really have a hard on for kennedy

you conveniently left this out of my post:

Nah - it was just stupid.

I have no love at all for Kennedy. But you look like a pathetic fool for trying to claim that all you were trying to do was "remember" Mary Jo. Could have easily done that with one thread.

Is lying habitual with you? There are pathologies that can be treated, you know. The first step is just admitting it...
:pke:

spurtage is the poster boy for gotcha with the kennedy one

fuck only a junior college moron would try to sell in rememberence.
Weakling

Right, because Operation Southern Focus never existed and bombing strategic targets is the same as invading and occupying a country.

Totally.
