One can certainly have a belief in a higher power. No problem there. But, when that belief causes you to suspend reality, that’s where you have a problem. With yourself and with others that know better.

A belief in a god, for example, does not negate the evolutionary process. What DOES negate the evolutionary process is the belief that some have that their god created man (and all animals) as he is right now. And we know that’s horseshit.

The evidence that Domer evolved from a monkey is strong however I believe that the rest of us came from an intelligent being.

/shrugs......I consider your belief that human being evolved from another species to be a denial of reality.......and I know you wouldn't even know where to start to prove me wrong........evolution explains why we have hundreds of different kinds of butterfly, not the origin of butterflies.......not the origin of human beings......certainly not the origin of life...

Only YOUR mythical god precludes evolution. So, it’s your battle to reconcile the two, not mine. And you fail miserably.

America becoming less religious has nothing to do with the government being nonsecular. Cheeta. That is what the Constitution is about. I think we should be religious and our government should be agnostic.
