WASHINGTON — The House Administration Committee is investigating why Rep. Jamaal Bowman, D-N.Y., pulled a fire alarm in a Capitol office building on Saturday, according to a post on social media by the committee.

The U.S. Capitol Police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The fire alarm sounded in the Cannon office building, which is connected to the Capitol via an underground tunnel, as the Republicans were trying to begin a vote on a 45-day spending measure to keep the government open.......

What is this high school? It is against the law to falsely pull a fire alarm. I hope he gets prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It is also against the law to disrupt official proceeding. Where have we heard that before:thinking:

I do believe that would be a violation of 18 USC 1512(c)(2), which most Jan 6 folks got charged with, even for just walking around the capitol.

He was trying to interrupt a vote on the CR.. If they couldn't agree on a CR the federal government would have shut down. Yes it was a stupid move but he is a Democrat so it is understandable.

This is an inquiry to develop more evidence. They can pierce executive privilege with their subpoenas now. This is a typical pyramid shaped investigation. You start with the small fish pn the bottom first then work your way up to the big fish on top or in this to the "Big Guy"

ROTFLMFAO!!!! They agreed on a CR, SO THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WOULDN'T SHUT DOWN. This one, along with his 'Did Dems kill Diane Feinstein' thread, has moved him into the top three dumb fucks.

Dems were attempting to buy time in order to read the CR, since McCarthy is a shifty con man. I guess the claim is that this was about that effort. Obviously not. If you have an IQ above 90. It happened WAY BEFORE the vote.
