We know Trump relies massively on leverage and debt in his portfolio and he has always talked about that. Within his banking covenants, in all jurisdictions, he will have to report to them any material change in his asset base and net worth and change in revenue.
So the taking and liquidating of his NYS properties and all they own, will almost certainly tip all his outside properties into serious, unreconcilable covenant default and the calling of those loans and liquidation of those properties.

The issue is the material facts that trump claimed to get a value. he claimed he could legally sell the land for condos. he could not. Everyone knows that was fraud.
Prosecutors try to avoid the subjective, because that becomes a mess. They are focused on the objective: did trump have the right to sell the property to be condos like he claimed he could. Objectively, he lied. It was a material fact. Therefore it was fraud.

PmP claims to be a real estate lawyer and yet when presented with the testimony by Zurich insurance officials that had they known the information, they now know Trump org had and concealed from them, he would not have got his NEEDED Insurance policies for some of the loans...
And that when Trump Org has there lawyers go in to the Tax Assessment hearing for Mar a Lago and argue a $16MM valuation is TOO HIGH, because they have signed away all future redevelopment rights, and then they walk across the road to banks and say 'these properties are worth more than 2000% of their assessed value due to the residential redevelopment opportunities'...
