My dads life was largely consumed by fear and anger...I learn early.

He died at 43, I was 23...he never knew how much he taught me by negative example.

That's so young.....My dad taught for 43 years...memories just came flooding back seeing that number...I always told him I'd break that number of years teaching...that didn't happen....I don't know how he did it...My mother was a teacher as well...She taught elementary and preschool...I don't know how she did that...lol
(We're blessed to have parents who loved us, even if it was in their own way... no matter how they helped us learn...)

For me family was always aspirational...both my wife and I come from abuse/neglect backgrounds.

I understand that your life was different, I am so glad you did not have to experience that.

FWIW, I can't think of any Democrat or Republican President who fucked over members of his own party at a cost to his own party like Trump did in the 2018 Midterms. Nixon had an enemies list but Trump is in an entirely different league. Only a fucking moron would support an adulterous, draft-dodging traitorous pedophile.

People are free to dislike or even hate opposing political parties, but all I've seen from JPP Trumpers are support for one man, not one party. None of JPP' Trumpers are pushing DeSantis, Haley or any other candidate over Trump. Trump is their man. Trump is a wannabe dictator who has already plotted to shred the Constitution and you, Yak, and other JPP Trumpers desperately want him to become President so he can complete the job.
