The video shows a serious problem in the US today. People who do mindless, near meaningless, jobs that are largely being automated, are pressing politicians to get them to pass laws that will pay them wages far beyond their worth as workers. A McDonald's employee doesn't deserve or produce a product worth paying them $20 an hour.
An acceptable price for lunch? I'd say where I live $10 to $12. I can go to a locally owned Mexican restaurant and pay that or less for a meal easily and get better food to boot. I can go to the best ramen shops and pay that for lunch. The radical Left is full of shit demanding that people be paid a "living wage" for doing piddly shit work that isn't worth what they're getting paid. If you're too stupid or lazy to get a better job, that's on you. If you can do better, then do better. Nobody "deserves" some whopping big paycheck just for showing up and doing a little.
