CNN: Judge rules Fanny stays on the case!

the same court that found she converted public funds to private use.

so you're saying the judge who removed Wade from the case also held that the judge who removed Wade from the case made a mistake?.......that may be a new high in "stupid things QuePee said"........

You spelled 'accurate' wrong there.
you don't spell 'delusional' with those letters in that order.

You are conflating different things here.

First the SC as tilted by Trump IS a political court and that has been admitted and not denied. The picks are now come solely off the Federalist Society picked lists, with all candidate pre qualified as Far right ideological driven judges. As Trump made clear, we absolutely KNOW how they will rule on certain issues, as that has been pre screened.

That came about as the Right, expressed great frustration how prior Right Republican justices were too intellectual and could be swayed to vote with the other side on key issues. The Right no longer wants these intellectual, big resume types, as candidates for the SC which is why they are filling the lower courts with Aileen Cannon and Matthew Kacsmaryk types who are young, dumb and complete ideologues who will ALWAYS vote the party, ideologue line and are immune to logic and truth and counter arguments.

Each and every new SC Justice the Federalist society will be more political, more ideological and younger.

But that does not mean all current Justices rule currently on ideological lines. Most were not selected this way, and this is mostly a new Magat thing.

So you are simply wrong on your point.

where do you stand on the acumen 'the courts are the final arbiter of what the constitution means'?????

I'm guessing you were away due to having a stroke as you are still not making an ounce of sense in your posts.

You should probably take more time away.

The Georgia legislature is STILL investigating Fani and they have subpoena power. Fani and Wade had THOUSANDS of text messages before THEY say they started dating. It will be interesting to see what those texts say.

yes but TOP like today's Magats can only live for the salacious slander as they are batting near 0 when it comes to actually prosecuting any crimes against Dems, so they have lowered the standard for what they must count as 'good' and a win.

meanwhile when Trump is found by a Jury and Judge in two separate instances to have raped a woman they cry it is meaningless as it is only a 'civil court finding and not a criminal court one' and they demand a higher standard to impune Trumps character as they think a civil court jury and separate Judge finding of RAPE is not enough.

And the next day they are back to 'it looks bad' as the sole reason to impugn Joe Biden and Fani and other Dems, with that being plenty enough for them.

I guess when you're faced with having to back a candidate as severely flawed as trump, your only hope is to find fault with "the other", which is pretty much all trumptards do. Also, the disconnection to reality and re-writing of history on the part of trumptards has to be hacking away at their sanity. Bottom line: they're fucked and fucked up.

How many of you were Trumpped?
Every single time you get Trumpped.
Another corrupt Judge? Hahahahahahahahaha!

No, a judge that recognized kicking both her and her lover boy off the case was political suicide. Giving them the choice of who goes as Solomonic. The problem now is Willis is so tainted, and so ethically fucked, if she stays on this case it's finished and Trump walks. If she bails, it's still probably finished since the question remains if it was politically motivated on her part.

On the whole, Willis is such a stupid, arrogant, bitch that she fucked this case away entirely. I wouldn't be surprised if the Georgia state AG, legislature, and governor don't open separate investigations into her office for corruption and ethical violations. It's very likely that Willis is done career-wise.

The trumptards' slander of Fani's character will have no effect on the outcome of the trial. All that matters are the findings of the judge and jury.

Sorry to rain on your character assassination parade.
it will have a huge effect on the trial...and the rest of her "career"...Perhaps you didn't listen to the scathing remarks delivered to the very unprofessional Ms. Fani from the judge...re her behavior in court to the MLK speech to the inappropriate relationship and exchange of funds... Too bad he's up for reelection...his judgement would have been...and should have been...very different.
But it will all work out when all is said and done...

A lot of top lawyers would very happily clear their calendar to get into this case AND I am willing to bet the office itself has a staff prosecutor up to doing it by now.

My misinformed take on this I see is shared this morning by analysts at WAPO, both as to her tenure in the case and delay of the trial:

Donald Trump’s allies have failed in their effort to get Fulton County, Ga., District Attorney Fani T. Willis removed from prosecuting her election subversion case against Trump and others.

But amid their concerted campaign to target prosecutors, they have succeeded in damaging her in a way that could reverberate — with a very significant assist from Willis herself.

And to some legal experts, the judge’s decision raises significant questions about the wisdom of Willis pressing forward, even though she can.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee ruled Friday that either Willis (D) and her office or special prosecutor Nathan Wade must leave the case. The dispute centered on a previously undisclosed romantic relationship between Willis and Wade, whom she appointed in late 2021, and whether Willis improperly benefited from it...

“For the good of the case, given that ethics issues will abound now as to Willis, she should voluntarily recuse herself from the case and allow another prosecutor to oversee” it, Andrew Weissmann, the former lead prosecutor in special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s investigation into ties between then-President Trump and Russia, said on X.

Georgia State University law professor Clark Cunningham, who previously urged Willis to step aside, said the ruling showed why.

He said the matter raised “a risk of reversal of an eventual guilty verdict, especially if the court of appeals disagrees with McAfee.”

One potential avenue for defendants is pointing to Willis’s speech potentially prejudicing jurors. McAfee noted there wasn’t much case law upon which to base a decision, which could invite an appeals court to weigh in.
In the near term, the ruling probably means more delays, which would play into Trump’s hands with the election looming and uncertainty about whether he’ll face trial before Election Day in at least three of his four criminal cases. (The fourth is scheduled to begin later this month, but the prosecutor on Thursday opened the door to a delay.)"

She is still under investigation by the State Legislature and the committee has subpoena power. The 10,000+ text messages should be very entertaining and if they prove she perjured herself she is toast.

You are still trumped.

Every judge who ever ruled against trump is corrupt in your world.

I think you are permanently Trumped! Sorry I think your case is terminal.

In what way do you believe it will harm the case?
