As for the rest, you are just making a trivial objections fallacy. It is clear that a border wall, patrolled and guarded, makes a huge difference in levels of security. Israel uses border walls. Pakistan has one to keep Afghan terrorists (the Taliban) out of their country. There are plenty of other examples. Sure, they're not 100% effective, but they are effective and in terms of border security a good investment in that.

California passed Prop 187 in 1995. It basically said illegals will get no public services in the state. (a judge overturned it and it was never implemented)

That will never happen on the national level. There are several reasons for that, one of them being economic (we need the cheap labor).

That doesn't change one word of what I stated:

The tunnels:

1. Are almost entirely for drug smuggling
2. Expensive, time consuming, and difficult to construct
3. Almost entirely in urban areas

That means building and patrolling a border wall works because those that would seek to cross illegally have to invest lots of time, money, and resources into constructing things like tunnels rather than simply walk or drive across.
