MAGATs hate well-educated, upper income liberals and call them "elitists" for allegedly looking down on rednecks, Trumpanzees, "trailer trash," and rubes. Yet here's Gardner, illustrating exactly that same negative elitist attiitude towards the low-income character in the comic. He's a "moocher." He doesn't deserve help or even sympathy for his wrongful termination. He doesn't deserve health care, or even a burial. His crime? Not being wealthy.

I think we've identified who the real "elitists" are.

MAGAts worship money just like their Orange Jesus. By elitists, they mean well-educated as you stated, but they don't consider wealth to be elitist....as fucked up as that idea may be. As such, they consider the poor to be losers who should be put down, not coddled.

Sure, there are deserving people down on their luck, but the way Lucky Duck is portrayed in that comic makes him out to be a moocher taking from society and giving nothing back.

Let me explain the world of big business to you. Remember most of your CEO friends are likely to vote Republican. So keep that in mind as you read this.

YOU are a consumer. YOUR purchasing of products is key to the business staying in business. FURTHER we developed the STOCK MARKET so other people could pony in money to help companies they liked by providing them capital. Now you may not know this but in business in America in the 21st century GROWTH is king. If you don't grow you die according to the current biz zeitgeist. To that end Wall Street (the Stock Market) requests that the CEO's accurately estimate how the business will do in FUTURE QUARTERS. So they need to really make sure YOU the consumer BUY THEIR SHIT.

It is all they want. It is everything. The product isn't even important anymore, just the PURCHASE.

To that end they are ALWAYS seeking ways to lower the cost of their goods and services. The added bonus is that YOU the consumer don't really care so much how they do that...you just want the lower costs.

Best way to reduce operational expenses and drive more money to the bottom line is to FIND CHEAPER LABOR.

Remember: YOU ARE DEMANDING THIS FROM THE CEO'S. YOU. We all are.

Quickest way to do that is to offshore the jobs.

Now that transportation costs are low enough to do it globally that's how we got to where we are today.

It is literally OUR FAULT that these jobs are gone. Yours and mine. We are all complicit.

So, perhaps YOU should STFU.

Then you can give them YOUR money freely, just don't demand and force me to give them mine. You don't get the difference here. You are willing to rob me of wealth to give it to others you deem should have it, I'm not a thief, like you.
