It will be interesting to see if Fox "news" repeats their lies about tampered voting machines this time around. Maybe the $750M verdict against them has taught them something, unlikely as that may be.

They can certainly repeat the lie, as long as they don't concoct stories about an individual company or person. Rudy The Drunk is being evicted from his NYC apt. because it now belongs to the two Ga. poll workers!

Simple solution: count & report the heaviest Dem areas first, so Kamala takes a huge lead. Even if she loses, it's fine - it will turn out the same in the end. But if Trump takes any kind of lead early, it's going to be all of the cloak & dagger/shipping ballots in during the dark of the night conspiracy stuff from MAGA.

We have to adjust how we do things to cater to their myopic understanding of how things work.

No, you can't fake it. Ignorance, stupidity and bullshit will always find a way. Last election Trump expressed faux amazement when big city returns came in a whole three hours after the polls closed.

Some states allow a couple of days of leeway due to how fucked up the post office is these days.

Let's say you mail in your ballot three days before the election. Due to the sloppiness of the USPS, it doesn't get run through the sorting machines and time stamped till 5pm on Election Day, and isn't delivered until three days AFTER Election Day.

Should it be thrown out then?

Lest you think I'm exaggerating about the USPS's incompetence, consider this. I sent one of my g-sons a birthday card, first class mail, on Sept. 9th because I was going to be out of town for several days. His birthday is Sept. 26. He got it on the 25th. Last month I sent one of my daughters a b-day seven days before her b-day. She just got it this past Friday... three days late.
