did you not state "If it passes, the Healthcare bill, even if it were going to harm the American economy"

this obviously notes the possibility that it could cause harm as well as a lack of concern that it might.....

and "will not have had a chance to do so yet" clearly indicates a belief that if such harm will occur it will not have shown itself by the next election cycle.....

and "and the American people will remember how incredably alarmist and silly the Republicans were over it." shows your hope that voters will therefore not be acting because of the harm that will occur, but because of the warnings which will not have yet born fruit......

in short, you don't care if harm occurs so long as people don't realize it by the time Obama runs for re-election.....

???....that presumes there is another explanation of your words to represent the other 50%......when you said "even if there is harm it will not have had a chance to do so yet" what did you mean if it wasn't that at the next election people wouldn't know yet that the bill was harming the economy?.......did you perhaps intend it to mean that red apples taste better than yellow ones?......

I was pointing out the political calclus and how it works for President Obama...

I did not say I did not care if the Health Care Bill were bad for America. I would care if I belive that it was bad for America... I am confident it will be GREAT for America.

No I acknoledge that there is a small chance it will be bad for the economy, I doubt it but its possable...

The benefit outweighs the risk in my opinion.
