Which you do every single day. Why isn't it bad when YOU do it, Toxic? Or do you really believe the hate-filled dreck that you repeat?
Try to be a little less obviously hypocritical. lol

She would be a HELL of a lot better President then the POS you voted for and is going to be President in a day or two.The t bird guy.... He wants her to run for presidentI have the ultimate respect for her as a bad train... None for her as a politician....She's awful...
I think I remember telling you that I didn't know too much about her But that I would watch to learn more about her... I did... I still have the ultimate respect for her as a veteran...at this time she's lost any vote that I may have considered in a political capacity... I can't support someone who doesn't use their own words and their own thoughts to personally attack others... And misrepresent the rights you mention...She would be a HELL of a lot better President then the POS you voted for and is going to be President in a day or two.
She has been fighting for equal rights for years and also for veterans rights and a better America.
Are you opposed to the 28th Amendment?
Clandestine
@WarClandestine
This “28th Amendment” stunt is not random. The brainwashed liberal sheep will eat this up and actually believe that this is part of The Constitution. Then when Trump rightfully says this is hogwash, the Dems will say Trump is “taking their rights away”.Pure desperation.
-------------------------------------
Do notice how you are taken for stupid.
Agreed, it is a redundant law. Unless the purpose it to require women to register for selective service.I notice that nobody is listing the states that have approved this Amendment. Biden just said "I believe that it met the requirements" without regard to actually informing the folks what has changed to make it happen. So here it goes:
Anyway, this isn't hogwash...
Virginia ratified the Amendment on January 27th, 2020. They were the 38th state to ratify the Amendment.
So, according to my calculations that makes it 76% of the states have ratified the Equal Rights Amendment. That is what is required to make this official.
Here is a list of states that have (and have not) ratified the amendment and when they ratified the amendment.
Ratification By State — Equal Rights Amendment
www.equalrightsamendment.org
So, I'm not sure what it changes as every place that I know already have laws, etc. that guarantee this, but it seems it is also an Amendment to the US Constitution. So, "more guarantee" I guess.
So... Here it is our 28th Amendment:
“Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.”
Sounds a bit like it was written by Beaver on the TV Sitcom "Leave it to Beaver"...
Since it grants all rights equally, then yeah. Women should have to register for Selective Service as the men cannot be treated differently by law "on account of sex"...Agreed, it is a redundant law. Unless the purpose it to require women to register for selective service.
The ERA was declared moot in 1982 when the scotus refused to hear a case requested by 4 States' wishing to rescind their votes, ... declared moot because it had already expired.
Since it grants all rights equally, then yeah. Women should have to register for Selective Service as the men cannot be treated differently by law "on account of sex"...
Do you want to make women's private spaces illegal? Are you opposed to the 28th Amendment?
Actually, it was specified to expire in 1979 if not ratified. Then extended by 3 years to 1982. The 1982 expiration was affirmed by scotus when it refused to hear the case on rescinding State votes because the deadline had expired..Since it grants all rights equally, then yeah. Women should have to register for Selective Service as the men cannot be treated differently by law "on account of sex"...
But the Amendment didn't have an expiration like ones written later or did it? https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/equal-rights-amendment-explained
No expiration is one of the reasons why one of the 12 Amendments introduced at the onset of the Constitution was able to be ratified while Bush (H.W. Bush not "Dubya") was President in 1992. Over 200 years after it was proposed the 27th Amendment making it so Congress could not give themselves raises that applied to a current term.
But yeah, after reading up on it more there were time limits set on it, and after those expired 5 total states have acted to rescind approval.
If it was a matter of law, yes. However, if the ratification stands (not a done deal here, courts will have to work on this mess). Since it specifically talks about laws though, it may not apply to "policy".That's fair enough. But if Mr. Hegseth, who doesn't believe in women in military combat roles, wins his nomination, it won't happen. If women get drafted, wouldn't they have to perform the same roles as men draftees?
Both of which are expired. Yeah. I'm pretty sure this isn't going to stick. Interesting.Actually, it was specified to expire in 1979 if not ratified. Then extended by 3 years to 1982. The 1982 expiration was affirmed by scotus when it refused to hear the case on rescinding State votes because the deadline had expired..
Hegseth testified to congress that he supports women in combat. What he opposes is LOWRING STANDARDS so women can be in combat. That's fair enough. But if Mr. Hegseth, who doesn't believe in women in military combat roles, wins his nomination, it won't happen. If women get drafted, wouldn't they have to perform the same roles as men draftees?
I think if they did draft people the second man drafted should file a discrimination law suite for not drafting women. That's fair enough. But if Mr. Hegseth, who doesn't believe in women in military combat roles, wins his nomination, it won't happen. If women get drafted, wouldn't they have to perform the same roles as men draftees?
No more what? You hate that your wife has an opinion? This is why women hate you. With the singular exception of that vile twat Toxic. And she only likes you because you grovel at her.Agreed....and my wife flew with and talked with Duckworth....thought she was awesome.
No More.
I'm confused. Are you against equal rights?
I would rather tear out my fingernails with pliers and swallow broken glass than spend 10 minutes face to face with @Hawkeye10. I wonder if he realizes that he's Chicken Little. How does she tolerate living with you? All you do is complain, cry and whine. She works and you stay home, isn’t that slacking?
For real. ZERO self awareness.Which you do every single day. Why isn't it bad when YOU do it, Toxic? Or do you really believe the hate-filled dreck that you repeat?
Try to be a little less obviously hypocritical. lol
