"A Good Outcome for Ukraine Is Vital for the Security of Every Nation..."

Those who commit suicide on the orders of the Imperial Empire forgo a good outcome in this particular universe.

There is a pretty big re-alignment taking place right now.

We have our contractual obligations through NATO (for now) - but we're no longer a friend to Europe, and I'm fairly sure they don't consider us as that.

Meanwhile, Russia is positioning to have a stronger relationship w/ us since Friday.

It's a pretty radical change.
Europe and the U.S. will remain allies. Our friendship isn’t in jeopardy, so the paranoia might be misplaced. On Russia, I agree. They’re pushing for a closer relationship, and I’m open to it. What’s striking, though, is how the media ignores Zelensky’s authoritarian streak. He canceled elections in May, silenced dissent, and just banned another political party. These aren’t the moves of a democrat. They’re the hallmarks of a petty dictator drunk on power. Is he really a better partner than Russia or China? I’m not convinced.

He had no deal, all Trump is promising is a “deal,” no specifics, just meet with Putin and accepted a “deal,” Zelensky has experience on how Putin keeps promised “deals,” he wants some kind of guaranteed security
Are you ok with the US giving him one, committing our troops if it comes to it. If so, why? Why would we ever do anything like that. If anyone should, it would be the actual neighbors that would theoretically be in danger from Putin, not us.

Then there's the fact that little man is fast becoming a full-fledged power-hungry dictator of the most corrupt nation in the world. He's cancelling elections, shutting down decent, and he just cancelled and strip the assets of an opposition party. So what would be ideal in your opinion?

Everybody I listen to thinks that Europe will continue to do as they are told, but they are having trouble dealing with the reality that Project Europe failed.....they are an outpost of the Imperial Empire.

They could tell America to fuck off and make a deal with China-Russia....but they wont.

I'd prefer us to follow a moral course.

I have nothing against the Russian people - but Putin is the classic mass-murderer tyrant. I do believe there are consequences associated when we align with immoral leaders & causes.

I support continuing to support the Ukraine. But if we decide not to, I would hope it doesn't mean we shift our alliance to Russia. Obviously, it helps Russia if we back off on the Ukraine, but they should never be considered a friend or ally while Putin is in charge.

Do you feel the same way about China?

Ah, three years ago Putin invaded the Ukraine, so you tell us they should have accepted Putin owning the Ukraine was their “good outcome?”
Russia does not want to own Ukraine....they want the abuse of Russian speakers in Ukraine to end, and they want peace, they want the end of NATO aggression against them.

A bad outcome for Russia could end every nation in a nuclear WWIII.

America is bankrupt to boot.

Ukraine is not America's fight. We have already done too much.

How is a "good outcome" for Ukraine "Vital to the security of every nation?" Whatever happens between Ukraine and Russia is irrelevant to say, Argentina. This sort of bullshit, political, hyperbole is typical of idiot politicians flailing to explain how they've squandered billions in taxpayer money on a porker of an irrelevancy.

Right, Putin wants peace, tell that to the people in Georgia, Moldova, and the Ukraine whose hospitals he bombed, schools he droned, and homes he leveled

Will they? Why? If the US can’t be trusted, why would they look elsewhere to build relationships?

And as I said, every President going back to Reagan has sought to establish closer ties to Putin and learned quickly Putin is a killer. Appeasing him now will only lead to his further aggression down the road

And Zelensky is fighting a war for the existence of his country, he doesn’t have time to stop everything and have an election, which was postponed not cancelled via Ukrainian law. Lincoln declared Martial Law in border States during the Civil War, Wilson exported radicals, and FDR interned Americans, life alters during major wars especially if you are fighting for your existence

No one, especially Zelensky, is opposed to a deal to end the war, however, after the world has seen how Putin honors deals, any deal will have to have some sense of security for the Ukrainians

I'll assume you meant 'wouldn't they.' They won't because this is where the big money is and always has been. There is a lot of money made by very important people in all of the countries in the EU. They might not like it, but they need us more than we need them. Trump is the first one to use that powerful reality to our benefit.
And as I said, every President going back to Reagan has sought to establish closer ties to Putin and learned quickly Putin is a killer. Appeasing him now will only lead to his further aggression down the road
The deal little man was here to sign wasn't designed to appease Putin. Quite the opposite. It was designed to force his hand. If we are business partners mining important REM's we need, any attempt to invade again would be a direct act of war on us. It's very simple and very smart for both us and Ukraine. That's why little man's own ambassador was so upset at his behavior along with the poor bastards on the front line.

LOL or should I cry that people so naive are voters in America? I wonder if elections have ever happened in Ukraine in wartime before? I wonder what the American press would say if we decided not to have elections when at war?

I don't know, maybe that's a dream of American politicians, you think we would ever see a war end? You think as long as little man doesn't need to hold elections, he'll want to end the war? I think I know the answer.

He was supposedly a new kind of leader for the well-known most corrupt country in the world and we've learned he's anything but new. He has been shutting down networks, targeting journalist, banning opposition parties, postponing elections, etc. (Not by law, but by Marshall Law, there's a difference) He's on a power trip and showed his cards in the Oval Office. He listened to Schumer and libtard morons and blew it up to keep the paystreak going as long as possible. Wake up!

The security is that we'll be there mining. That's all they need. If little man doesn't think so, he shouldn't have come to sign the deal. We certainly don't owe him securities. This little dumbass is acting like someone owes him security. Why is this?

The Ukrainian people have always been proud people that don't ask for handouts like this little dictator does, only he's not even asking, he's acting like we owe it to him. It's completely ridiculous.

If any should help Ukraine obviously it should be the EU much more than us. But as I've laid out, he has become no better than Putin is, so at this point why should we give a shit who we make a deal with?

RFK explained very nicely who the villain is in this whole thing. Let me give you a hint, it's not Russia.

We know, we know, the Red Hat Club thinks the Ukraine invaded Russia and Zelensky is a dictator
Take an honest look at this and comment.

How is “being there” security?

First off, the need for Russia to secure a border buffer zone is ludicrous, that was the excuse they offered when they invaded all those Eastern European nations

Keep in mind, those nations did not want to be part of the Soviet Union, most were their own independent nation beforehand, so once they attained their independence they looked toward their fellow democracies for security from a proven aggressive Putin

RFK is echoing Russian talking points
