Once the clock reaches $2T they plan on sending every taxpayer a check for over $7K... Earlier in this thread I said I would prefer they just used it to pay down debt, but if they send me one I would certainly cash it, ay wot?

DOGE has not saved a dime. They post the great savings. Let's see where they are.
It is a shield for Trump's huge tax cut for the wealthy. They can say they saved so much that the cut will not hurt us. That is BS,. The national debt is equivalent to the deficits caused by Reagan, Bush and Trump. They all cut taxes and spent like maniacs while talking fiscal responsibility.

It's mostly destructive. This has been the Orange Oaf's style all his life ... create chaos and then do a "fire sale" type approach to push what he wants. Problem is, unlike his private businesses, the USA can't declare bankruptcy to save the day.

It is pure theatre for the stupid.

Doge used to provide links to all their claims of savings. Then the media dug in and traced them and proved one by one they were all lies or inaccurate.

A claim of Billions of savings on a fraudulent contract proved to be millions of savings on a cancellable contract they simply canceled.

Not one claim held up.

And Doge then switched to putting up the claims with no links to what it was referring be that an invoice or other. Just 'X Million or Billion saved', and the claim is now, the government data can be looked at by anyone so go find it yourself.


And believe me, i get it, if you are the type of stupid person who buys everything Trump sells you will be all in on this.

Meanwhile actual government reports on expenditures show the costs have actually gone up since Doge, as the only thing they have really cut is salaries but those people are largely being reinstated, being paid back pay, and will soon be getting large settlements thru lawsuits that are now working their way thru the system.
 
Oh ya baby, government spending is UP since Trump took office, but Doge says there is savings so roll out those checks from government to the citizens!!
