I would think the construction and maintenance of AF1 requires exhaustive security checks, security clearance and background checks on everyone who has access to the plane, and extensive planning and approvals on any engineering and security modifications proposed.
I guess MAGA morons believe a Qatari jumbo jet can just be pulled into the garage for a a tuneup and oil change
