What's more hilarious is that about 3 months earlier he got into the Arizona state capitol building and the security stopped him. But several state senators and representatives talked to him and nothing happened. He was escorted out, they answered his questions, and that was that.

CHAZ was an insurrection. It quickly dissolved into a brutal oligarchy. Finally the Seattle police shut it down. It took two garbage trucks and folks working in hazmat suits to clean up the filth (yup...defecating on the sidewalk again!).

The LAPD officers are going to open fire on the NG? I don't think Bass has the clout or respect to get the LAPD to do it! Mayors come and go. The LAPD are career, and have to be here, in the community, for years to come.
If a person in LA wants to sell drugs, they join the Cartel Gangs, not the LAPD. A person who is a Power and Control Freak, might join the LAPD, but generally, those who are LAPD, want to help citizens and promote law and order.
If Bass gives an order that none of the LAPD will follow... what happens next.

So, the Cartel Thugs fire on the NG, and the LAPD are going to join in shooting at the NG?! That will just never happen. I doubt most people today have ever even heard of Kent State. But as an incident, it occurred for several major reasons.
The National Guard was issued rifles and live ammunition. They were not trained in riot control.
There was no overall unified command. This resulted in the state police pushing the rioters into the NG line.
The NG troops seeing a herd of rioters headed for them did the only thing they could and opened fire to keep from being overrun.
The California NG today are equipped for riot control after all, the Left loves to riot all the time...
