Straight Question for the Left (and Everybody Else)

I think Gretchen Whitmer.
Thank you for the mention. I'll add her to the list.

Just between us, if Whitmer ends up running for President, she will absolutely get skewered over her HATRED for the 2nd Amendment and her willingness to use whatever excuse to confiscate firearms, regardless of constitutionality. She has legitimized in Michigan the confiscation of firearms that have been anonymously reported as having been stored unsafely. Also, Whitmer didn't care that the Green New Deal didn't pass; she implemented it anyway in Michigan, and you know how that worked out for Kamala. I think she would have to completely redefine herself away from the Whitmer that you recognize in order to have a chance.

I like mayor Pete, but America won’t elect a gay man,
I think America would elect the right gay man. I don't think Pete is the right one. He has all the wrong positions and he isn't honest.

we might finally consider a woman.
The DNC is absolutely certain of this. You might want to tell the DNC that any woman candidate still needs to be likeable to some degree and be able to answer at least some of the questions she is asked.

I also believe Andy Beshear could win.
Andy would have to explain why he wants unlimited do-overs for illegal immigrants who have already been duly processed and issued deportation orders. He is a vociferous advocate of illegal immigrants getting unlimited "due processes". He also believes in "common sense" infringements on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. He would have to address that plank as well.

Maybe Josh Stein from NC.
His problem is that he is a WACKY Climate Change fanatic who opposes drilling for oil and who opposes deporting illegal immigrants. He would need serious rebranding.

Thank you. I'll add them to the list.

You are assuming that the next nominee will be Vance?
Correct. If I wasn't clear enough previously, allow me to reiterate that Vance will be the next Republican nominee ... unless he meets an unfortunate demise prior. It is conceivable that Democrats will try to have him assassinated.

You think so? Why?

Everyone always thinks VP's will be the next nominee, but a lot of the time it does not happen. And Vance is involved with releasing the Epstein scandal on trump, which trump might think is a betrayal.

Vance could well turn out to be the next Pence.

Who is the DNC's top candidate for President? Who stands the best chance to run against Vance? I can't think of anyone in the Democrat party with any hope. What am I not seeing?
Michelle Obama
Oprah
Stephen Colbert
Jon Stewart

Any of the above would win in today's America.

There isn’t any “top candidate” at this point, rather an array of potential candidates including Governors, Senators, one Representative, and others currently not even in politics. Currently Newsman is getting the most publicity and Booker leads in dollars, but neither are dominating anything. Over three years away, an eternity in politics

And why you so sure Nance will be the GOP candidate? If Trump takes a fall, fifty fifty proposition, Nance could descend with him. In three years even the GOP might have had enough Trumpism and “RINO” emerges as the savior

Has anyone in the DNC considered wooing Tulsi Gabbard back over to the Democrat party with the promise that she'll be the next Presidential nominee? She would probably beat Vance. Tulsi would win. This is why I am certain the DNC wouldn't even consider the idea.
No
