Bush: "We're kicking @ss in Iraq"

your lies and strawman are truly boring....i never said they were identical, in fact you've already quoted me as saying there is not true comparison

(yawn)
Don't worry about it. Onceler makes a claim and an ad hom (hack), when proved wrong he then makes another nonsense claim, then calls you the hack again.... dice al fine...

It's the regular cycle of Onceler posts. Later he'll tell you how he "admits when he is wrong" and that you "never do"... He'll then take one tiny piece of something you say and "claim victory" after taking it out of context.

Cool; than you agree it was kind of a dumb thread to bump, because there is no comparison.

Thanks, Yurtsie!

Oh, now Damo - you still sore about getting busted on the Beck cut & paste?

Yeah, that was embarassing. Carry on....

Maybe - at least I write my own posts, though....
Right. Because "almost word for word" is a sign of "cut and paste"... even though that would make it "perfectly" rather than "almost".. You're a genius.

Come on, you can do better than that. Maybe you'll actually find something you can take out of context in another post somewhere while ignoring what I actually say! Then you can quit trying to live in the "glory days" when you thought you "got" Damocles....

the hypocrisy is evident...you wanted to send bush to die in Iraq for saying "we're kicking ass" (doing well).....yet you whine that my laughing at obama for saying 'gonna' kick someone's ass is outrage etc....

it is simply showing that you exhibit extreme outrage over innocuous comments by bush, but when someone dares laugh at your messiah over his childish 'gonna kick someone's ass'....you freak out and go on a personal insult rampage

lighten up you pathetic bitter little man :)

if you weren't such a hack, you too would see the humor in the president of the united states saying he is going to kick someone's ass :pke:

onceler is either the worlds biggest idiot or he is and idiot and dishonest he can't even comprehend the hypocrisy is not that the two statements are identical.....RATHER....the reaction to the two statements about ass kicking...

one is an idiom about doing well....the other other is an idiom about doing harm to someone...i laugh at obama wanting to harm someone, onceler wants to send bush to be KILLED for saying we're doing well....

so simple a cavemen can see what hypocrisy is being called on here

lol...you actually just perfectly described onceler to a 't'

Oh, sorry - didn't mean to interrupt the Beck-loving, Obama-hating & Onceler-obsessed love-in!

You guys take it from here. It's been fun rehashing my "extreme outrage" over Bush's Iraq War comments, which were so similar to his BP comments.

Bush had the "final say so?"

Bravo - Bush made the decision. He wasn't presented with a directive to invade that he had to put his stamp of approval on. He made the call; this was his baby.

No, Bush asked for and received APPROVAL by the Congress of the United States BEFORE taking any action....and yeah, he made the call....WITH the approval of the US Congress, including 82 House Democrats and 29 Senate Democrats...

Democrats like the now Sec. of State, Hillary Clinton (D)...Minority Leader Richard Gephardt, (D), Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D), Now Vice President, Joe Biden, Dodd (D-CT), Dorgan (D-ND), Edwards (D-NC), etc.....need I go on to prove you have no point and you're a partisan peckerhead, hack

He asked for & received approval for specifics on invading Iraq?

Really?

I don't see anything about recommending the invasion of Iraq, or even detailing the invasion of Iraq, in this document.

In fact, if you go to the day of the vote, you'll see comments from the vast majority of Dems, as well as many Republicans - including Dick Armey - stating that they were assured by the admin that they would do everything possible to avoid using force, and that if force was necessary, most expected air strikes or more limited operations. Beyond that, when Hans Blix reported in March of 2003 that inspectors had unfettered access to all suspected sites, it met the criteria that the admin had established to avoid using force.

Try again, bravo.
