I preferred the KJV over the RSV or whatever it was that Lutherans used when I was growing up. The language to me was like poetry, which I also love.

That being said, the only way IMO that any version of the Bible should be distributed and taught in public school is if the other major world religions' sacred texts are also distributed and taught. Fair is fair.

I have no problem with that. It's your opinion. You will find, however, that schools select curriculum because they can't teach everything.
