Florida plans to become first state to eliminate all childhood vaccine mandates

Most are new age Democrats. We had a big out break of measles in Washington state a couple years ago. Not exactly Republican territory. The one we recently was among Mennonites and they don't require vaccines for school either.
Yes, the far left whackos used to be the ones who were anti vaccine.

I Don't see it as a problem that doesn't already exist... There have always been kids ...every year...who aren't up to date on shots... and schools deal with that... "No mandates" isn't going to make a big difference... If it makes a difference at all...

In long ago times, life expectancy was about 30. That continued until about 1850. Then people's life spans were very much extended. Now it's about 80. These changes came along with science and medicine . Now Trumpys want to go backwards in time, believing science is the problem. Florida will pay for their stupidity by sickness and death. It is called winning.

We have some great vaccines, which you want to throw away for your "prayer" for better vaccines? Really? How would it be developed without scientists?

We wiped out Smallpox, and nearly wiped out Polio. We save the lives of about a million children a year. And you want to throw all that away for prayers?
Do you really think there are no Research scientist left? Lol...No one
Is "throwing away" anything ... Just developing new and better options... Why does that upset you? Because you know that's what's happening...

Doctors and schools are still going to advise that vaccinations are the safest way to go.... And provide The reasoning behind it.... Parents just want reassurance about a subject that can be a little confusing at times... If a parrot is antivax they're probably home or private schooling anyway...
I would agree with except for the fact that today's young parents have no memory of chicken pox or measles epidemics so some will not see the value of subjecting their kids to injections. And some irresponsible parents are just too lazy to take their kid to get a vaccine. I had a friend who had two alcoholic parents. I'm sure he wouldn't have been taken to get vaccines because my mom did more for him, fed and clothed and took him to school, than his own parents did at times. Fortunately he turned out well in spite of having crap parents.

My parrots are 100% on board with preventative medicine, "teacher." That's because they are smarter than the average MAGAT. :rofl2:

Not requiring immunizations to attend public school will definitely cut down on the number of uneducated morons "homeschooling" who do so because they don't believe in preventative care. Your former catfish friend Brunette is one of those morons.

That's why Schools... And the community sometimes just like your mom did... god bless her.... get involved and help out in cases like you mention... It's been that way for as long as I can remember....

Speaking of pets... rabies shots are mandated here and others are highly Recommended.... There are lots of irresponsible people and once again , the rescue community... And sometimes just the community in general... step up to help out... That's what good caring compassionate people do... Help those who need help...

You would think that an actual teacher would understand that a kid sick at home is not learning. You would think that a real teacher would be in favor of helping children stay healthy so that they weren't missing classroom instruction, weren't infecting other children, or infecting the anti-vax teacher.

It is, isn't it? Basically they are busybodies who think that they have the right to tell others what to do/not do and to interfere with how they live their lives because they think they know better than you what's good for you. The fake "teacher" excels at this, as you've no doubt noticed.

If I was a teacher forced to teach Bible passages in a public school classroom, I'd be finding those admonitions of Christ to present. You know, the stuff about loving others as you love yourself. Not judging others. Giving to the poor. Feeding and clothing those who have little. Welcoming strangers to your community. Following god rather than money. The story of the Good Samaritan would be especially appropriate for MAGAT children.
The alt right thinks the treatment of Mary is the correct treatment of a pregnant woman.

In Texas there currently is a strict no injection no school policy. Every year there is a rush to get kids vaccinated right before school. I have known kids that were not allowed to attend the first few days of school because they were un-vaccinated. Those un-vaccinated kids would be allowed in class today if there was no policy. I'm concerned we will not get herd immunity if we don't require vaccination for public school. To be clear I'm not talking about COVID vaccines because it does not prevent transmission of COVID.

I read one comment from a dumbass. She stated she’d never heard of the diseases they were vaccinating against 😱😞

I just don't think it's going to be a problem... I think most people
still think it's pretty much A part of the requirements to start school.... That's what i'm seeing anyway right now... We rarely see a defiant parent.... They want their kids in school...lol
