Political violence

When you call people names, you are letting your feelings get in the way. Your posts are dripping with anger, which is a feeling.

I do not hate America, and neither do you. We both have very different ideas about America.
Yes Im angry at people who want to destroy America

Good hear. Now show it. Yes we do but Americans elected a president you dont like and you've done NOTHING to work with him.

He kept them from going through the door, which would have allowed the mob access to the politicians.
He acted with the knowledge he had available and his job function. He was protecting the politicians and the Capitol. He did nothing wrong. She was breaking through a door. That is not nothing.
He shot a woman coming through a fucking window by your own admission. Just how many more could come through a broken window?
He acted out of fear and disorientation, yet he fired only one round from a presumably semi-automatic handgun. And, no one else fired.

Coming through a window in the nations capitol which separated the mob from the politicians. That is not some random door. He did his job and every investigation agreed. The shooting protected the door. No more tried to break through.

So your feelings do have a lot to do with this. Did you do anything to work with Biden?

Trump is an all or nothing kinda guy, so it makes it very hard to work with him.

There were still Congress people in the chamber. He was doing his duty.

You mean the biden who said MAGA was a threat to democracy? For years your side trump was an existential threat to democracy. Working with you idiots is a piece of cake right? This is precisely what I mean one sided. I've told you 1000 times when I had a reasonable alternative to trump I voted for them. Tell me which Democrat you think was the most "tolerant" of Republicans? Tell which one you think even gave a shit about me.

Trump has said very close to the same thing about Democrats. You know its true.

We do not have to work together toward a goal we do not agree with, but we do need to be respectful, even when we are blocking an agenda we do not agree with.

I am in full agreement with respect but if you truly believe we don't have to work together toward a goal then you're no friend of mine or America's in my opinion. The founders disagreed but had a good of building a nation. Compromise is whats needed. During the day "marriage" debaucle I actually asked someone if it was possible to disagree with gay "marriage" and not be homophobic and the answer was no. Thats asinine but part of the divisive rhetoric

Depends on the goal, and the way to get there. But if the goal is constantly Making our Nation better, that should be the common goal, the issue is how to get there.

Agreed. So explain how telling people with penises they can be the opposite sex is, "constantly making our nation better".

A more accepting nation of people's rights and freedom to do as they wish is a better nation.

The government has no business telling people what they should believe.

First people don't have a right to "do as they wish" unless you can point to it in the constitution.

Second are we suppose to accept every and anything so people can "do as they wish"?
