I buy whole bean in 3 pound bags. They went up before Trump took office, they have stayed up as they will. I recommend buying coffee that is roasted in the US though, it costs less. Probably due to tariffs, which, as a libertarian, I do not like. I find it so odd how the sides have switched. From Bernie and AOC advocating tariffs, to now the Dems agreeing with the libertarians on the subject.

I drink Kroger's Colombian coffee. A friend of my wife's was over and she is pretty snooty about her coffee and I served her coffee. She asked me what brand it was because she really liked it. I think a lot (not all) depends on what method you use to brew it.
No, I do the shopping, I have experienced it first hand, and in the last year, there has been a lot of it.
If it were whole bean I may like it. The fresher the grind the better the brew. I also like darker roasts over light roasts.
The coffee I have been talking about is roasted in New Orleans, just looked at the can. and as I have said it has gone up about 130% since the first of the year.
Then you are doing what you can to avoid the cost of the tariffs. We can't avoid them entirely, very few coffee beans are grown in the US or its territories.

We all have experienced it for years the term is not new. I have no doubt it is happening. I would have to see a study that says it is happen more now than it did previously. I do shopping too.
I like medium dark roast. I like a French press method and 200 degree water. A good drip coffee maker that gets hotter than most drip coffee makers. Also try Tim Horton's brand whole bean. It is pretty good.
