Charlie certainly wouldn't care about his own murder. He explicitly said that some degree of gun violence would have to be accepted in order to preserve the Second Amendment. (Something tells me he didn't include his own potential murder in that list of "acceptable" costs)
MAGA turned on Charlies "Free Speech" schtick super fast. That's because Charlie and his message meant nothing to them.
The saddest part of this horrific tragedy apart from the horrific murder will be watching MAGA turn him into some sort of superman-saint and watching them violate everything he nominally stood for, just to fulfill the prime directive: OWN THE LIBS.
