I like the atheist influencer Alex O'Connor. He is not stridently militant, he has polite interactions with reputable Christian apologists, he actually studied theology.

I think he's backsliding though. He started out as a genuine atheist, but in recent years he taken to calling himself an agnostic. It would be funny if he is on a trajectory to converting to Christianity, like Ayaan Hirsi, lol

Extremists of every stripe have hitched their wagons to crime and moral corruption. That includes atheists, Christians, and Muslims.

What good is knowing the standard if you don't even make a genuine effort to make progress towards the standard?

Most Protestants will say if you claim to be a witness for Christ, but don't see at least some moral improvement in your own life, then your faith is not really genuine.

LOL As discussed several times, the most logical position is agnostic. It's the emotional types that argue the extremes.

The aggressive Christian always makes you feel guilty if you think there is truth in other spiritual traditions and religions.

And the militant atheist will attempt to shame you and make you feel like an idiot if you believe there is more to it all than just matter and energy.

That's why whenever you put theocrats or atheists into positions of complete power over a nation they always turn into control freaks.
