60% of Americans disapprove of how Trump is handling the economy — a new high

On the campaign trail last year, then candidate Donald Trump repeatedly vowed to “bring prices down” and “end inflation” starting “on day one” of his presidency.

But one year later, a new Yahoo/YouGov poll shows that 60% of Americans now disapprove of how Trump is handling the economy.

Only 33% approve.

That is the president’s most negative economic approval rating to date.

Trump campaigned on eliminating inflation, but by his economical blundering he exacerbated the situation, so it's understandable why the voters are not happy.

Inflation was over 3 percent last quarter. You will not know in the future because Trump killed the agencies that keep up with economic data. I guess we will have to trust what he says.

And we all know it will be a bunch of lies from the biggest liar the world has ever known.

This is the same poll I showed in another thread to be heavily skewed towards a predetermined conclusion.

This is the actual poll YouGov did.

Economically, 40% of those questioned made (self-reported) under $50K. Another 21% made over 100K. So, 71% of those polled were either working poor, poor, or well off / rich. When you look at the demographics in the poll, it's mostly college educated women who are being polled. The poll skews heavily towards those that are known to disagree with Republican economic choices and support a heavy-handed welfare state.
