It was the original intent for those seeking public office, to go to Washington for a few years, serve their country (not themselves) and then go back home.

trump has been a 'celebrity' for decades, masquerading as a successful billionaire businessman. If you read about 'The Apprentice' in the early days, producers were mortified at the disgusting conditions in trump Tower. They actually had to build a set to make the boardroom look...like a boardroom.

Now that trump is fully exposed, he will never be welcome in NY again. How much time did he spend there while Biden was POTUS?

He made Mar A Shithole his permanent residence after getting elected the first time. No doubt to pull off the biggest grift in political history.

If I served, it would be for one term.

Then I would wipe the mierda off my shoes and go back home.

That was the original intent of government service.

Now, you stay there til you are nearly dead and 300 million dollars richer (insider trading) and go home.
