Democrats Outspend GOP to Lose...Again; TN 7th District goes to Van Epps

A win is a win, Marty.

President Trump wasn’t on the ballot.
Sure a win is a win, but if Magats have to spend money or they will lose to a progressive dem candidate not hiding who they are, in the deepest of red areas that would be as bad as a magat candidate running an a pro Trump campaign in San Francisco and if the Dems had to spend big to stop them from winning.

it says terrible things about the party currently which banking the win does not change.

Irrelevant.

Nope. Once again, which is STILL not enough times for 'poor anchovies' to comprehend, special elections are NOT general elections.
Sure.

But we have history of prior special elections heading in to mid terms and when we see massive changes in directions of how people voted on the election that just passed, it has historically lead to big change in the coming general election.

And while you can ignore history and say it does not matter to you, i suggest you look up the long held expression about people who do that.

QPeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee,
You supporting commies now?

I just couldn't believe what things she was saying... She was trying so hard not to get elected...lol.. And that worked out for her...
She ran on a strong liberal agenda rather than mealy-mouthing it as a more typical politician might have done. Even so, she cut last year's Republican margin of 22 points down to an 8.7 margin, consistent with voter swings that have been favorable to Democrats in every state election this year.

It's a strong liberal agenda to express hate for Your state and everything about it? She go votes because people were voting against President Trump and the Republicans...

Special elections aren't general elections, martin. You can stop pretending any time now...

Exactly. Special elections aren't general elections. There's nothing more to say on the matter.
Stop using the word "we". It's such a bad habit that too many people have. You are only one person, so speak for yourself.

Nope. Special elections have absolutely no bearing on general elections; they are two completely different things.
And while you can ignore history and say it does not matter to you, i suggest you look up the long held expression about people who do that.
There's nothing to ignore. No reasonable adult would pretend that a special election is a general election or has any sort of implications upon a future general election.

This is also too much for you to handle, but midterm cycles (one form of general election) are not the same as presidential cycles (another form of general election)

Johnson said he spent all yesterday there. The Repuibs focused bigly on this election. It is a bright red district, so a loss woul have sent a message even Trump could understand. This was treated seriously by the reds.

Irrelevant.

When [whatever this dude's name is] runs next year, he will win with probably twice the margin.
No, you claimed the election was not telling since it didn’t occur during a national election, that one could not compare it to Trump’s twenty point victory. I showed you were wrong that the former rep won the district in local and national elections by the same twenty plus point margin

Next year is also not a national election, and next year the national party will not be spending over two million to get him elected

Second time, want to try again

Last year was a presidential election year; this was an off-year special election, and the Desper-a-crats poured everything they had into it....and got beat by near double digits.

$ Millions more debt of money they don't have, for NOTHING.
