2,000 ICE agent "surges" haven't been necessary in Texas because Texas has been cooperating with ICE agents. Since there's cooperation present, less ICE agents can actually get MORE work done.
More ICE arrests have been made in Texas than anywhere else.
... because Texas is cooperating with ICE and many of these people are already in jail via local law enforcement.

No citations that support the claim. Sorry. Just citations that show there are more arrests in states with more undocumented people.
How does that support the claim that those state level authorities are being more helpful to the anti-immigrant effort?

This argument is just entirely fake, for two reasons.
1) In the Obama administration, they counted being turned away at the border as a deportation. A person would show up, be sent back, and counted as a deportation. We have to do deportations from the interior of the country because Biden and Harris let them walk in.
2) In the cities that are not sanctuary cities, the deportation process is orderly and normal--like most law enforcement. In Minneapolis and a few other sanctuary jurisdictions, local jurisdictions and a few leftwing agitators have decided to wage war on all immigration enforcement officers.
They are hoping that a little chaos will convince us to give up on immigration enforcement. They are wrong.

I linked to a story with the statistics and explanations. In order to come to the conclusion I researched a little over 100 articles (to be precise 108), do you want a list? Do you have the time to read them? If you do not I suggest you ask perplexity to run a quick search. Or grok if you trust it. If you want an article that simply states my conclusion from research you would need to accept what I say, I would be the author of that information.

Giving accurate information about Texas, etc. has nothing to do with what you are on about here. There was a specific question. I answered it. I get that you are upset that they are applying the law in the way that they can in states that do not work with them. Pretending that there is no difference between the safety of the citizens for actually more arrests in states where the authorities work with them as opposed to states where they are not just non-compliant but are urging obstruction is your pretense.
I just give the stats. Far more arrested nearly 1 out of 4 across the entire US of A come from Texas. The reason that they are not newsworthy is the relative calm and the incredible safety you get from a state that doesn't actively oppose their work.
