You suggesting MAGA actually has confirmed beliefs or principles? As we’ve seen with Trump, what they profess to believe one day can easily be reversed the next. The only thing that unites them is their collective grievance populism, give them someone to hate, to blame, an empirical threat, and they’ll jump on the bandwagon

Vance’s shortcoming is that he isn’t Trump, he lacks the charisma Trump has with the base, and comes across as just angry all the time

i do think the hate of 'others' is a core belief of a big segment of the magats that would not shift if Trump shifted. Those racist xenophobic members would just stop voting again.

Prior GOP parties flirted with welcoming them, in an attempt to get that low voting base out, but always deemed it to dangerous thinking it would turn off too much of the rest of the base.

Maybe Jill Biden will run for a second term since she ran the first anyway. Vance/Rubio against Jill Biden/AOC complete female ticket.

Vance is a joke. Pence would be good, but I think enough American voters are fed up with the Republicans that it'll be a tough run no matter who is chosen as the nominee.

Wow Wally, I see you're smoking crack again, lol. Let me help you out. Pence has zero chance no matter who writes what or what fake poll you want to read, his chances of ever being president are nil.

He would not have needed to do martial law.

Had Pence refused to certify it immediately would go to the Supreme Court.

There is one constitutional remedy when Congress cannot certify the election. The reason does not matter. That is a Contingent Election in Congress.

Even if the SC believed what was done was wrong they have no authority to remedy it in any way but calling for the Contingent Election. And Trump and GOP win with that.
