Is the MAGA base cracking?

As I have asked IF the BBB is as good as the Republicans and MAGAS say it is why don't they put it into effect right away and NOT wait till after the mid terms?
The Republicans know it will be bad.

I support bringing back tarring and feathering for corrupt politicians....and their supporters.

The BBB combined with the costs of Trump's Forever Wars will not sit well with Americans struggling to pay their bills.
Well I do like the fact that they are trying to stop a lot of the fraud that has been happening but I do not think they are going about it the right way.
Cutting Medicare and medicaid and SNAP is going to hurt a lot of needy people MAGAS included.

"Fraud" is a buzzword with started with "Election Fraud". No American wants fraud in our elections, but when unscrupulous people use it as an excuse to disenfranchise Americans whom they believe will vote against them, then it crosses into being a Big Lie.

The entire Trump administration is built on a stack of lies. JPP MAGAts push those lies along with fearmongering.

An example is Trump's war in Iran. MAGAts used to claim being against forever wars and supporting cutting government spending. Now they are claiming that anyone against Trump's war or cutting government spending is anti-American.

This, of course, is very dishonest on their part and is proof they are evil.

Well IMO we are already in a recession, and as economists say we can't and won't be able to determine that for a couple of months.
And we have Trump to thank for that, and it will get worse once all the increased gas and fuel pries work through the system.
It is a fact that IF you bought it it was on a truck at one time or another and Truckers will be hurt by these increases and yes they may eat some of the increases but they will have to start passing them along to the consumer and soon once it starts really hurting them.

Not an economist, but as prices rise, buying will drop. As buying drops, manufacturers will reduce production including layoffs. As layoffs increase, they'll have less money to spend which will contribute to less buying. It's a vicious cycle which Trump and his oligarchs are using to line their own pockets as quickly as possible before the whole house of cards collapses.

. The economy has shown growth, with a recent quarterly increase of 1.11% and a 5.89% increase compared to the previous year.

Yes it is a vicious cycle and it has ONLY started.

Sadly agreed. The effects of Trump's wars will be felt by American citizens for years to come.
why do you think it will only last a quarter?
Because she's a Trump Dick Sucker who swallows everything he is spewing. MAGAts are either lying or simply stupid. Sometimes both. This is why our nation will be better off when they are dead or otherwise gone.

As this drags on, the ships in the Persian Gulf will both fill up and stack up in the Gulf. The oil tanks in the ME will fill up and the oil producers will have to shut down the pumps. Shutting down is far easier than starting them back up which can take weeks if not months.

Total oil output cuts from Middle East producers have risen as the countries run out of storage and traffic through Hormuz remains a fraction of normal levels.

Oil output in the United Arab Emirates, which pumped about 3.4 million bpd before the conflict, is down by more than half, Reuters reported on Monday. Saudi Arabia has cut production by 20%, and Iraq by some 70%. Total crude oil output cuts in the Middle East now stand at 7-10 million bpd, according to analysts' estimates.

Corporate executives on a recent CNBC CFO Council call expressed concern about the risk of a sustained rise in oil prices if the Strait of Hormuz closure is not soon resolved.

The war in the Middle East is creating the biggest oil supply disruption in history, the International Energy Agency said on Thursday, a day after it agreed to release a record volume from strategic stockpiles to offset shortages and a spike in prices.

Global supply is expected to drop by 8 million barrels per day in March, the IEA said in its latest monthly oil market report - a volume equal to almost 8% of world demand - due to the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow channel along the Iranian coast, since the U.S. and Israel began airstrikes on Iran on February 28....

..."Shut-in upstream production will take weeks and, in some cases, months to return to pre-crisis levels depending on the degree of field complexity and the timing for workers, equipment and resources to return to the region," the agency said.

I have been watching the price of oil for years. I have several share in oil wells. My former business partner , a doctor, was also a petroleum geologist. He got me into several wells. We hit more than we missed. Anyway since a lot of my income comes from oil I watch it closely.

Sure but you fail to take in to account you are stupid person who cannot even read and comprehend a study and repeat what it says without getting it wrong so no one should take what you watch and think was anything but the musings of an idiot.

Several key industry analysts are pointing out that the current growing damage to infrastructure, especially natural gas, may take months or longer to get back to full capacity causing ongoing inflation for much longer.
