Straits of Hormuz….

Amazing part is that it actually looks like they went to war without any consideration of how to account for Iran controlling the Straits, like it was going to be another Venezuela, over in a week
This is what happens when you get rid of all the military and intelligence senior staff and replace them with former Fox personalities. The only president since the ayatollahs took over in the late 70s to just blithly go blundering into that is idiot Trump.

Yup,

Now Iran is rejecting any US terms to try and end this while laying out their terms and the regime in place is more hardline than the prior one was and where it was thought it might move when the last Ayatollah died.

Trump solidified the hard liners rule and locked it in for generations more when there was hope it was easing prior.

They've got us by the short hairs. This can't be said enough. Trump is a fucking idiot. Reminds me of a poker game. "Go big or go home."

Agree. It boggles my mind that average anonymous citizens can figure this out without being privy to classified info. But Trump and/or his advisors refuse to see it. Or at least admit that they do.
MAGAts are deluded, drunk, and/or demented. I've given up trying to have an intellectual conversation with them since it's clearly beyond their capability.

Trump caused it to be closed….

We all knew that would happen, now he is talking about cutting and running leaving that valuable territory Irans for the keeping.

Can you lose a war AND gain territory?

If The PP is president, yes.
Iran has closed the straight many times; the US doesn't need it.....Europe does.

Let NATO handle their own business, for a change...
